"We're sorry for this tweet. In retrospect, a Twitter poll is insensitive in light of the gravity of this hearing."
The New York Times was forced to issue a public apology Thursday after public backlash over a Twitter poll that asked whether people believed if Christine Blasey Fords testimony was credible.
Ford testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee about her allegations that Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh attempted to sexually assault her in the 1980s.
Shortly after Fords opening statement, the New York Times opinion Twitter account tweeted a poll asking people whether they believed if Ford was credible.

They probably didn’t like the result.
So, it didn’t turn out like they expected?
Apology not accepted until everyone involved in producing that poll, including all leadership up the chain, are fired with prejudice and no severance packages or golden parachutes. And the company changes ownership. :)
Probably won’t have a problem with a poll if Kavanaugh is credible.
It doesnt matter if it sound credible. Heck I can make up all sorts of things and sound credible. All that matters is whether there is enough evidence to keep this guy off the court, I say no, not even close.
Yea it probably didnt go their way
Bingo! They didn’t like the results. She had ZERO credibility.
The NY Times promptly changed the poll to something less controversial:
How much do you hate Donald Trump?
X. I want to kill him
X. A lot. He’s another Hitler
X. I find him annoying
How about a Poll to see if Grassley will ever realize he’s being played like Fiddle
So you figured you couldn’t add to the BS, eh? FU NYT...traitors.
That said, consider the following.
Only 25% of Women Believe Christine Fords Accusations Against Judge Kavanaugh
The NYT has psychologically groped me!
Well, we (NYT) wanted this out there and of course we apologize to anyone offended but we did get it out there. Mission accomplished!
I wonder if you were to go into their executive offices, the world seems to turn upside down (kind of like in the Warner Bros cartoons when Wile E Coyote accidentally fell through the ground and ended up in China)?
So its back to Roman Colliseum days. If the crowd signals thumbs up, he survives. Thumbs down, curtains.
LOL!!!!!!!!
Dumb ol’ New York Times should have phrased their poll as shown below. That would have kept them out of trouble.
How do you find Dr. Ford’s testimony?
A. Credible
B. Very credible
C. Extremely credible
Well there’s only one thing Trump can do now ,pull Kavanaugh and nominate Ford ,LOL
My thought also...too many real victims voted that she lied...
