This isnt the first time Hot Cheetos have made headlines over health concerns. Stomach irritation from too many of the tasty snacks are a surprisingly common problem, according to WebMD.
In July, a mother in Memphis blamed the chips for her daughters gallbladder surgery. The teen regularly ate bags of Hot Cheetos and Takis before severe stomach pains landed her in the hospital.
Frito-Lay released a statement earlier this year saying:
"At Frito-Lay, food safety is always our number one priority, and our snacks meet all applicable food safety regulations as well as our rigorous quality standards. Some consumers may be more sensitive to spicy foods than others and may choose to avoid spicier snacks due to personal preference."

The only problem is Cheetos are a guilty pleasure of mine and I have to make sure I don't sneak any of the hot ones.

Two of my boys have found out the hard way by overdoing it with Takis and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.
My son likes them as well. Its a good safety

I like the Jalapeno Cheetos but have never tried, and won’t, the Flaming Hot ones.
