If you agree like me you are very frustrated with the GOP senators. Say what you want, if this was the Democrats, he would have been confirmed already. Whether you agree with them or not, they stick to their convictions. The GOP wants to bend over backwards to show they are pro-woman when they already are. The Democrats accuse them of these things and they take the bait. IF Kavanaugh is NOT confirmed, we are going to face a wipeout in Nov like we have never seen. They are being played like fiddle and they seem to be the only ones who can't see it.
Grassly an ass...have the vote...if the senate regects him then we deal with the GOP...
There is no pulling the nomination
There’s not much anyone can do about Flake, he’s a goner.
If it were up to Nancy Pelosi they would have been confirmed already. If it were up to the Bernie Sanders of the world the nominee would have been dumped at the first whiff of Progressive complaint.

No. This is about securing a conservative majority on the Supreme Court. That is why the Democrats have gone gonzo. If they lose a liberal activist court, they will have to pursue their agenda legislatively, and they know that's a much heavier lift.
We need to retain the Senate majority to give Trump a chance to appoint at least one more, and perhaps two or three more, justices. Ginsburg is 85. Breyer is 80. Clarence Thomas is the senior conservative justice at age 70. While I do not wish ill for Ginsburg or Breyer, I do wish both of them a happy, and prompt, retirement.
We have the chance to install a conservative majority on the court for the next generation. That far outweighs anything else Donald Trump can do administratively, and anything Congress can hope to accomplish legislatively unless we end the filibuster. And we have Chuck Schumer to thank for the chance.
But we have to hold the Senate.
Funny how things were different when all the women accused Bill Clinton. How about Keith Ellison which is going on right now!!
You must see these Democrats are not the Democrats of yore but radical socialist bent on the destruction of America by whatever means necessary ... to withhold your vote from a particular Republican politician because of some perceived lack or dislike or assumption, is to throw DJT out of office in 2019 and end any chance of MAGA ever again.
This would make a perfect GIF for the Kavanaugh accuser..

Help me here....even if the alleged event did happen in 1982, why is it relevant now?
Nobody is pulling the nomination. Grassley knows the vote count. He has to bend over backward but its approaching the end. Kavanaugh should not be sacrificed because you are impatient. Another nominee would have to go through a months long process of being interviewed by every senator and Kavanaugh could have been seated for months.
The ONLY thing that is going to shut down the Progressives is to show them that they are a small minority of voters. The Democrats have already accepted the narrative that the pragmatists who have held the Democratic party together and made it a force to be reckoned with are bad evil people who need to go away. The Republicans must be the ones to step up. Every single right-leaning voter has to show up this November. I know that organizing turn-out is something the GOP sucks at, but they need to suck it up and get the job done now.
Where I live all the anger is directed at the Dems. Preposterous that the seminal piece of evidence against Judge K is redacted and not provided to the accused and to the Sen. Chair Grassley.
Sens. J. Flake, S. Collins, L. Murkowski, R. Corker might be the objects of anger but the razor thin margins for voting in this issue are not the fault of Sen. Grassley and the GOP at large.
As long as these Dem tactics succeed, we will continue to see them.
As long as GOP voters turn their anger on the GOP instead of the Dems, we will continue to see the tactics used again and again.
Pres. Donald J. Trump is working his tail off, playing the long game in building a stronger majority in both houses of Congress. He knows what Sen. Grassley is going through and supports him at perhaps Chair Grassley’s toughest fight yet in his tenure.
We should follow the lead of PDJT. If we contribute to a red wave in the coming midterms, the next SCOTUS nominee will be a breeze for confirmation. If we contribute to the angst over Sen. Grassley’s efforts (however confused they might seem), and lose this Judge K nomination, you will NEVER see another SCOTUS confirmation by a GOP president.
I suggest we telegraph our support as part of the solutions to the issues in MAGA. Or at least stop contributing to being part of the problem by adding nothing but caterwauling to the debate.
It is a double standard. If there are crimes committed they should be prosecuted instead of all of this “do you know who I AM?!” business.
The Republicans are a bunch of soft-headed wusses. They want to be liked. Hell, the leftist wackos hate them and scream at the moon at night. Confirming Kavanaugh will just have the wackos hating a little more and screaming a little louder.
Trump was elected by Democrats.
Think on that for a minute.
If Democrats did not vote for him in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania he wouldn’t be President.
And what the GOP leadership does not comprehend is that those Democrats, and a lot more Democrats who stayed home on November 8, 2016 only hate one thing more than they hate Democrats, and that one thing is Republicans.
Trump is not running in November. Actually existing Republicans are. If they had embraced MAGA, if the wall was half done, if the GOP had not said to Trump that they would impeach him if he fired Mueller, if, if, if...
But the GOP did what they did, and they now face the voters as the second anti-MAGA party, the party of Big Business and globalization - and they are seven weeks away from getting what they deserve.
Oh believe me, I will come out in Nov and vote like I do every Nov and I will vote against the Dems - even though I live in Illinois where my vote basically doesn’t count. However, I think there will be a lot of people who will not be energized and not come out as a result of this.
Holding out for a good offer for her book deal? She wins....gets her 15 minutes of “fame” and a million dollar offer from Flatiron books!
Fun and games (add alcohol) as a teenager Christine Margaret Balsey, and you you might come face to face with reality: what was your share of the event with whomever bounced you on the bed?
I know lots of those people too.
How many of them despise Republicans, I mean the county committee types, the donors, the ones who really pull the strings?
Those people would crawl over broken glass to vote for Trump again. But they will NEVER vote for their local Republican.
I think the R's barley hold the house.
But -If the D's were able to retake the HOR majority then kiss the stock market bull run good bye! Dow drops 15% by Christmas if The Demons retake the house.
A wipeout in November and no more confirmations to any position. With Flake and Collins on the Committee I expected that a Conservative nomination to the USSC now would be derailed as soon as it was made.I I strongly suspect these two and maybe Grassley are being quietly advised of all the immense economic benefits to themselves if Kavanaugh is not confirmed and the political and other troubles they will experience if he is confirmed.
