With Flake and Collins on the Committee I expected that a Conservative nomination to the USSC now would be derailed as soon as it was made.I I strongly suspect these two and maybe Grassley are being quietly advised of all the immense economic benefits to themselves if Kavanaugh is not confirmed and the political and other troubles they will experience if he is confirmed.
Collins isn’t on the Jud Committee, it’s Flake that’s the naysayer and Grassley has done a good job along with McConnell on judges.
