CNBC Mad Money host Jim Cramer on Tuesday suggested Tesla CEO Elon Musk take a medical leave of absence from the embattled electric car company, citing the embattled billionaires recent self-destructive behavior. Im worried about the guy, Cramer told Squawk on the Street panelists. Medical leave is fine. I think the board puts him on medical leave. Thats not a sin.
A healthy Elon Musk is something that can take the stock higher, he added.

Pot, meet kettle..................
They’re both on the same crazy train.
“Theyre both on the same crazy train.”
The fast train from LA to SF?
Awww, c’mon, what CEO HASN’T smoked pot with a radio host before?
Musk can’t leave , Tesla is a “story” stock , no Musk=No story ... Tesla is broke , loses money each quarter , just got froze out of China with tariffs and their cars are poorly made with 80% requiring repairs before shipping... They used to build “just in time” now they have tens of thousands of unsold cars parked...
And now the European electrics are coming ,, leapfrogging Tesla’s “old tech”.
I watched the video where he took a puff on the joint. And that’s all it was one puff. And it was a half tobacco and half pot joint. And Elon said he has only tried pot once before, that he would rather be creating stuff than getting high. Elon actually had several positive messages in the video.
He shouldn’t have done it, but it wasn’t as bad as people made it out to be.
Im worried about all of the tax payers money that helped prop up that guys company in the first place.
And then, almost like clockwork, he's under a full out assault to discredit him, paint him as crazy, unstable, etc.
We are nearly full Soviet.
Erratic unstable behavior due to his green subsidies drying up.
And he didn’t even inhale it. It was like Pinto at Professor Jenkin’s house.
Air Force is reviewing his security clearance. LOL
Got a hunch?
Buy a bunch!
In this case, if you believe all that, become a short seller.
If you haven’t yet?
Tesla’s batteries are the best there is.
So far the Euros have nothing close.
See the Munro teardown.
If Musk’s companies have Federal contracts, he needs to observe ‘drug free workplace’ rules. Are his contracts in jeopardy?
I agree. You know Elon is screwed up when Jim Cramer is the voice of reason here.
To me, it’s not even that act so much, it’s more a question of his judgement. Between his televised dope-smoking and his false claim of securing funding for his ailing company Tesla, no wonder he’s under multiple investigations and his executives can’t find another job fast enough.
He’s on video violating federal contracting law, so I’d call that a big YES.
