A cheerleader in California gave a bully who challenged her to a fistfight a complete beat-down on Saturday, according to a dramatic video of the incident making the rounds on Twitter.
The 92-second video clip reportedly shows Savannah Sprague, a cheerleader for Clayton Valley Charter High School, beating an unidentified teenage girl who egged her on by challenging her to a fistfight, the New York Post reported.
“Do you want to fight?” the unidentified girl tells Sprague, who is seen sitting at a table with several other cheerleaders surrounded by several students.
“No, nobody wants to fight,” Sprague replies. “You guys want to fight us. Nobody speaks on you guys, nobody talks about you guys.”
Sprague then tells the girl, who can be seen towering over her, to remove her finger from her face while other students looked on.
“What are you going to do?” the unidentified girl says. “Are you going to make me get back?”

A drill team
A dance squad
Flag boys and girls
And JV squad and freshman squad
And a missy squad of little pre schoolers
My son plays high school ball for a large TN team
When I played we had 6-9 cheerleaders
And some today have boys in the drill team ...prancing

My thought was this young lady probably had a brother or two, that she had jousted with before. The takedown, was not new to her.
Her Family would be very proud.

And that’s why there might well be retaliation in the near future. And it will be something like 4 or 5 against 1. One being the cheerleader, of course.

Or at least they’d both get suspended. The high school where I worked had cameras in the hallways. So it should have been easy to see who started things, right? Well, no. The camera where the fight occurred was always “broken”. What a coincidence.
This link, which includes the un-edited video, shows the fight going more like you would expect; after the initial blitz attack, the heavier, stronger girl got the cheerleader down and started pummeling her. The cheerleader managed to use her agility to slide out and when they both recovered their footing, the fight was stopped.
Moral...David vs Goliath stories are entertaining but in real life, more often than not, Goliath wins.
Missed it, but not surprised. When I was quite young, my dad told me, “If you won’t defend yourself, you damned sure won’t defend your friends or family when you need to.”
The cheerleader held her own for a bit, but the primate’s gargantuan size was ultimately too much. At least the fight initiated by the bully was stopped at that point.
Public school is child abuse.
The only time my kid saw the inside of a public school is when we went there to vote.

Don’t mess with cheerleaders, far tougher and agile than you can imagine. Much respect there. My kid does the competition stuff and even at 10 years old she’s a rock.
Man is that true. Zero ability to forgive. I don’t understand that.
For one thing, they have trouble taking responsibility for anything, not the least of which is their part of the conflict.
