James Woods Calls on Shareholders with Incredible Plan To Shutdown Nike
Western Journal ^ | 09/04/18 | Cillian Zeal

It’s pretty unusual when a Nike campaign involves a sports figure who hasn’t played for years.

Usually, that player was a legend — but in this case, he was an above-average player who turned into a bust and then got mired in personal controversy.

That’s what made Nike’s decision to put Colin Kaepernick on its latest advertisements such a bizarre decision. After all, there were plenty of reasons he could have been chased from the league that weren’t just related to his decision to protest the national anthem.

There was his play. There was that tweet his girlfriend sent which compared the greatest player from the team that was about to sign him to a house slave and the owner to a slave master. There was the fact that he’s given support to dictators and cop killers. And now, he’s the new face of Nike.

He’s as white as Obama. His birth mother is white, IIRC.

His father is unidentified on WIKI. Like I said he could be a male equivalent of Rachael Dolezal.

And Nike knew its stock would take a hit

All planned in advance.

What isn’t known will be the long term effects

Nike allegedly employs real slave wage labor. But they pass the ssvings on to consumers, right?

Hearing the statement from the NFL about Nike’s decision, I’d agree. Nike provides the equipment for the NFL, recall how horrible it was when Tush Limbaugh considered buying into a team.

None of it is about free speech, it’s about corporate liberalism on the back of corporate welfare for billionaires.

All of the kneeling protests came about as an appeasrment to the black community that was calling for a blackout boycott of the NFL for not rehiring Collin Krappertick and more black staff in the offices of the NFL organization.

Police abuse was not the origins of it.

And yes the internal memos would be very eye opening.

“This is a peculiar kind of sickness.”

There is certainly a clinical pathology going on in people who have habituated themselves to subservience. It’s a very unwholesome mindset.

I used to work with a girl like that. She HAD to suck-up to someone ... if it wasn’t the boss it was someone one else she would single out.

I was sad to watch... like her identity was NOT complete without that kind of relationship going on. She was a psychological mess.

“His slave master is Nike.”

I humbly disagree. His slave master is someone high up in the “party.” Someone who guaranteed if he gave up football for this he would make far more money and bring attention to the “revolution.”

Someone who also guaranteed that if he wanted to play football again, they will pay for all the lawsuits and get him on a team.

Question becomes, “who has the resources and connections to do that?”

His birth mother is white, IIRC.

Kaepernick was born in 1987 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Heidi Russo, a 19-year-old woman who was single at the time.[7][8]    https://www.google.com/search?q=heidi+russo+wikipedia&ie=&oe=
His birth father separated from Russo before Kaepernick was born.[9][10] Russo placed Kaepernick for adoption with Rick and Teresa Kaepernick, a couple who had two older children, son Kyle and daughter Devon.

No PR executive would risk losing 1/2 of their customer base when there are numerous apolitical athletes who could represent them very well. PR’s job is to attract customers, not repel them. What cereal ever sold well with a turd on the box?

What is obvious is that the people in charge at Nike have let their ideology outweigh their business sense - big time. Heads will roll before this is over. The CEO & head of PR are doomed. Shareholders will see to that.

From the customer perspective, it is much easier to NOT buy something than to go & buy it. I very much doubt that Kapernick’s admirers will make up for 1/2 the country outraged by him. Boycotters have very long memories*, however fickle shoppers do not.

* I haven’t eaten at Hardee’s since 1962 - they food poisoned me & my family.

True. A well paid useful idiot. That's about as good as it gets for that guy with mediocre football talent.

Still on the plantation. Still taking orders from his masters. The only difference is the number in his bank account. If that's how he measures success then he didn't aim very high.

I have long believed that a lot of people at higher management level in corporate America are not as competent as it looks. They got their positions via “communication skill”, not real competence. This Collins Nike ad is proof.

Shutdown versus shut down.

There is a grammatical difference, but the author doesn’t know it.

Whatyever. Colin is still a dinosaur. He has a slave mentality. Whoever his master is, he is the slave owner.
