The resources that were wasted on this search have been well worth the expenditure.
I would be glad to see my tax money wasted on such a thing, over and over, if need be, 'cause, after all, knowing where a pair of damned shoes that some bimbo actress wore in a stupid movie is so very important.
We have some real priorities in this country, do we not?

I worked for years at a very famous hospital.I was told by two people who were in a position to know that Judy Garland was secretly admitted to our hospital several times after a mental breakdown.Although I never saw it (it happened before I was hired there) it has the ring of truth to it 1) because it's well known that JFK was secretly treated there for Addison's disease and 2) Saudi royalty routinely came there for treatment (I actually *saw* them several times).
No evidence that she brought her ruby slippers with her,however.
