A tenured professor at New Jerseys Rutgers University took self-loathing to a new level when he posted a profanity laden racist rant to Facebook declaring, I hereby resign from my race.
Professor James Livingston, who is white, was picking up a burger from a restaurant in Harlem, New York, when he was so affronted by the behavior of a group of little Caucasian a**holes that he felt the overwhelming need to take to social media and denounce his own race:
OK, officially, I now hate white people, Livingston began his post.
He continued to say the burger shop was overrun with little Caucasian aholes who know their parents will approve of anything they do.
Do what you want, nobody here is going to restrict your right to be white, Livingston wrote.
He then added: I hereby resign from my race. F these people.
Surprisingly, Facebook removed the post but Livingston followed it up with another:
I just dont want little Caucasians overrunning my life, as they did last night, he wrote in a post the following morning. Please God, remand them to the suburbs, where they and their parents can colonize every restaurant, all the while pretending that the idiotic indulgence of their privilege signifies cosmopolitanyou know, as in sophisticated Europeancommitments.
Ill take social posturing via self-loathing for $100, Alex.
There is one reason and one reason only that Livingston decided to blame the childrens poor behavior on the color of their skin: he wanted to earn brownie points with his fellow SJWs. Instead of blaming the actual issue poor parenting he chalked it up to white privilege in effort to signal how incredibly woke he is especially for a white person.
But unfortunately for Livingston, administrators at Rutgers didnt feel the same. After looking into the posts, the university found him guilty of violating Rutgers Policy Prohibiting Discrimination and Harassment. Livingston subsequently appealed the ruling, but it was denied. A punishment has yet to be announced, but the policy allows for disciplinary action up to and including discharge.
Unsurprisingly, many people and organizations including the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education are taking up arms for Livingston. Just look at this tweet from PEN America:
Rutgers' response to Professor James Livingston's personal Facebook posts denouncing gentrification and whiteness reflects a wrong-headed approach that threatens free expression. Read our full statement here: https://t.co/xL2KLsCMfa pic.twitter.com/vH0P526BEZ

Yes, denouncing whiteness is protected speech under the First Amendment, and perhaps reprimanding Livingston is a wrong-headed approach that threatens free expression. But can you imagine the liberal outrage that would erupt if anyone was caught denouncing blackness on their personal Facebook page?
However, at least one other party agrees with Rutgers decision: the restaurant itself, which has banned Livingston from ever eating there again.
“How he was/is employed by Rutgers is truly impossible to understand.”
Are you kidding? Every university is crawling with these cockroaches.
What was the behavior? Maybe we're on his side, lol.
Our massive spending and debt-fed education industrial complex is supporting hundreds of thousands of such left-wing parasites.
Its a huge bubble that needs to be popped
“Gated communities and well to do upbringing tends to make people into this sort of imbecile.”
Doo dat be - Hawww vid ?
The guy needs to be dropped off in the black section of town without a phone or cab money. Then we’d see how much he LOVES his homies.
“Gentrification” is one of the big places where the left exposes their insane white guilt. It’s really funny actually, on the one hand, they want to be super progressive and multicultural and that means moving into “diverse” (i.e., nonwhite) urban neighborhoods. But no sooner have they unpacked their bags there, and they are on to feeling guilty that their very presence there is resulting in the displacement of the people who are already there, and somehow have some God-given right to exclusively be there.
And then being the good liberal white people that they are, of course they are going to want to contribute to the general health and well-being of the neighborhood by fixing up houses, starting businesses, calling the police on hookers and drug dealers, and then as soon as they do that, they are feeling even more guilty not only for their very presence, but now they’ve actively worked to rid the neighborhood of its rightful owners.
It’s pretty funny . . .
A great time for a social experiment. Have him go hang with his new homies in the Hood, appropriating all of their gear and behavior. He looks to be about 40, so maybe he can find the few 40 year old homies who are still alive.
Perhaps he was driven over the edge when one of the kids walked up to him and he heard the annoying question for the millionth time “Dr. Livingston, I presume?”
Thanks Eddie01. What's weird is that Facebook deleted his posts -- probably did that to protect him from himself. Didn't work. Buh-bye.
And black children dont act just as entitled in public.... lets be clear , this is a black vs white thing for this gentleman obviously. If we are being honest teens of all ages seem to behave in public as if rules, laws and common sense etiquette do not apply to them. I dont think parents necessarily approve of it but are ambivalent about it for different reasons. Some are unaware, some want to be best buddies with their kids, some is probably hereditary.... its a pure lack of discipline that breeds it though.
White kids acting badly in Harlem? What am I missing?
When Candace Owens chided a female student on campus who told Candace she was part of an "oppressed minority", Candace explained that statement was racist.
To which the blue haired female barked back, "You are a white supremacist!"

"Here, let me help you", said the monkey placing the fish safely in a tree.
He might try Grambling University in Louisiana.
[what's really shocking is that my spell checker triggered on Lemmiwinks being misspelled]
My beef is with the parents of the little bastards who a let them get away with it...whatever the color.
Looks a little bit like Tim Kaine
