The flags at the White House, which were lowered over the weekend to mark the death of Sen. John McCain, are back at full-staff.
The flags at the U.S. Capitol, meanwhile, remained at half-staff on Monday to honor the Arizona Republican, who died Saturday of brain cancer. [ ]
U.S. Flag Code states that flags be lowered on the day of death and the following day for a Member of Congress.
After Democratic Sen. Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts died in 2009, President Barack Obama ordered flags at the White House be flown at half-staff for five days.

Figures “hitler junior” would do something like this to disrespect a former (P)residential can’t-idate. Following the law, rules and regulations. How dare he. Do I need it? Okay. /S
Arcing to the left?
Good!
Odd that al of the sudden the flag is revered and honored by the Left. They must not be aware of the new police strategy when pursuing potential criminals who run instead of complying with orders to stop, they will substitute playing the national anthem instead of the siren so the perps will kneel.
I will always feel that during the campaign with Sarah early on there was much momentum, when he realized that Mccain kept his foot on the brake as long and as often as he could to slow it down, I really believe that. Just like when mitt shredded Obama in the first debate, after that....foot on the brake the rest of the way.

Don’t go there.
Mine was for a week.
Then I took the whole 20 foot pole out of the ground
I have a flag status app on my phone, which gives daily updates. This morning's message was "Confusion reigns across the states... because there has been no Presidential proclamation..." Time to drag that app to the garbage can.
Thanks for posting this. I wasn’t aware of what the practice should be according to the code. The grief-stricken American people are going berserk about this on a FB live post from WGN in Chicago. I was able to educate them on the practice and, I hope, perhaps ease their pain a bit.
Doesn't take much to trigger these people anymore.
The last thing a flag status app ought to do is throw left-wing propaganda at you, indeed.
Here are a couple sites. From the second one, Congress does not have the authority to fly the capital flag at half mast.

Dana is the snake you place around your neck, thinking it is harmless. Dana worked for the Bushes all her life, and Bushes did not even vote for Trump against Hillary. Nuff said.
I even saw that none other than Stevie Wonder did a “tribute” to McCain at a concert over the weekend.
Dana Delaney? Dana Loesch? Which Dana we talkin’ about?
He was a senator. Just a senator. Public servant. Not royalty. All this crap just shows what is wrong with them and their arrogance keeps them from seeing how disconnected they are.
Good people die everyday. Why should we turn ourselves upside down because a senator from Arizona died?
Or upside down
Good. A couple days is long enough.
