I think Trump is only a speed bump, actually. After Trump things basically go back to the way they were before and all hell will break loose.

This is just me, but I'm also waiting for Trump to visit Detroit or Chicago with one of his pep rallies. If he could swing about 50% of the African American vote, the Dems are over for a long time. Even the Hispanic Americans know illegals are taking their jobs. They also have problems with men wanting to be women. Most of them are fairly religious. Course they say the same about blacks, but they still manage to vote 90% for baby killers and sodomites.
Redistricting is the least of the GOPs concerns. Their consistent messaging is a dud, especially in the upper Midwest. They are not remotely trying attract or motivated those non traditional MAGA voters who showed up huge for Trump and gave him this part of the country.
The Dems are going to show up big, and without those folks engaged and motivated, GOP is going to lose a lot of purple and pink districts.
Saying the other guy is a pelosi clone isn’t going to get those voters to care or show up.. red meat for the base won’t win those districts with a motivated D base.
I called the primary and presidential election for Trump early and stated he’d march right up the Midwest... I see NOTHING that makes me believe those same voters are motivated and going to turn out this fall.
Best bet I see for the GOP to hold the house is for the D’s to so overplay their hands that those voters show up just to spite them. PA18 and OH12 are absolutely emblematic of what I see happening this fall in this region and if it does, the GOP loses the house.

I agree with Ed here. I’ve been saying the Democrats gain single digits in the House and the Republicans gain seats in the Senate.
The Democrats will simultaneously proclaim it to be the Big Blue Wave and complain that the Russians stole it from them.
According to Rasmussen, black approval of President Trump is at 36%, up from 19% a year ago.
If that percentage is real and carries over to congressional candidates, the 'Rats are in for a major surprise. Republicans, you may recall, are only supposed to get single-digit percentages of the African-American vote, not 36%. And 50% would truly be the end of the Democrat Party!

You are 100% correct. I've been watching individual states and the Real Clear Politics average is 6-10 weeks behind, is heavily weighted towards demonRATS and does not reflect reality.
In PA, they have Lou down 13 points but the poll out today shows him within 2 points. A virtual tie.

We see a vote for Lou as a vote for Trump, wait and see the turn out.
President Trump will out work any of these demonRATs and we will win because of sheer hard work.
