The video shows a routine traffic stop by state police that turned into a frantic gun battle along Route 33. Its publication represents a rare instance in Pennsylvania in which police dash camera was made public.
It captured the entire encounter between Daniel Clary and police, including the moments in which he opened fire, grievously wounding Cpl. Seth Kelly, who nearly died from gunshot wounds that included a severed femoral artery.

Clary, 22, of Effort, Pa., was convicted June 29 of multiple felonies, including attempting to kill Seiple and Kelly. His attorney argued at trial he was scared and shot at the troopers because he feared for his life.
Clary will be sentenced Aug. 31.

The officers had ample cause to shoot the lowlife vermin early on. Maybe next time they'll think twice. That animal should have been shot dead.

I’ve gone over the video a few times. Did Clary keep shouting “I’m not resisting” While he was resisting? I wonder if they teach that in Thug 101 school?
Right. Because we're only paying for recruitment, training, salary, benefits, retirement of police to say nothing of the high-tech cruisers, guns, APCs, comms gear, etc.
Who are we to ask for public records funded by the public?
How the hell did the suspect drive away from that alive?
The officers showed incredible self-control. I would have shot him dead a LONG time before they even tried. No words exist...get his family too. Oh man.
Here in Texas, in most cases, if you reach in your car like that they’ll kill you right then.
The tall officer was shot. Barely managed to pull himself over the guardrail to survive. Second Officer behind the cruiser firing at suspect. Suspect hunched down in the seat the void fire. When the fire subsided, the suspect drove away.
Every kneeling football player should be forced to watch that video and then be caned.
Every time I see one a video like this, it’s a lesson learned.
Real life ain’t a Hollywood movie for sure, folks... Unless it’s a brain pan or heart shot, he’s still in the fight.
Everyone that carries should pay attention to these films - they’re real-world training aids.
I note the absence of good Samaritans in a state where many people legally carry CCW, except at the very end when a truck driver pulls to the side of the road ahead of the altercation, probably to evaluate the situation. When the perp drives off, the truck driver appears to pull out to block the road, but can’t move the truck fast enough. The truck driver deserves an “A” for effort.

2 cops with Bat-belts let one man over power them both and escape? Dont we have plenty of training videos of “good guys” getting blown away for the state to effectively train 2 grown men to subdue and arrest a violent criminal?

Also, officers need more time on the move-shoot range, rather than still paper.
Cops only hit their target 17% of the time in these situations.
