FWIW, I don't have any sentiment or preference on this, and I'm not advocating any relaxing of the "no 8ch.net URL" posting rule.

Early in my Q-following participation I figured and expressed that giving a URL without a link might pass the mustard (no link - a reader would have to affirmatively pick up the plain text to get to the URL), but was warned off that.

I'm one that for the most part is either respectful of the rules, or if the rules are too stifling for my tastes, just finds other ways to occupy my time. I don't find the "no 8ch.net URLs" stifling at all. The material gets here with a minimum of mangling.

No. "We don't say his name" comes from military men who don't say his name due to his treachery.

The Donald picked it up from them (or at least his military people, which is the same as Q, really).

And he didn't start the "not saying his name" until fairly recently. So I think it's okay to look at it as a bit of a Q proof.

Typical. Liberals hold a big conference on a topic and make speeches pontificating on subject. Sound bites, good vibes all around, huge non-profits created or expanded, government grants, lots of publicity. And nothing really gets done to stop. Obama had the long arm of the law to take action on these issues but that is not his style. Talk loud and smile for the camera. Meanwhile human beings suffer.

Goes back to at least February (Trump referring to McCain), and could also be (in part) tit-for-tat as McCain has also done the "I won't say his name" thing when referring to Trump.

I'm not sure what "proving Q" actually is, but can think of other ways Q and Trump could grow close in use of terms. For analytical sake only, assume Q is a larp working out of his basement. Trump reads Q and is highly entertained by it, so he pretends Q is an administration confidant, and adopts or reinforces the myth with carefully chosen remarks, tweets, etc.

I'm not saying that's what is going on, and earlier this morning said I believe Q is an administration confidant. My point with the example is just that whatever Q and Trump appear to have in common, can be explained by more than one hypothetical mechanism.

Okay then, consider it just me asking. I didn't mean to have you co-sign my inquiry to Jim Robinson. That was just me talking.

I would like to see us working closely together with 8chan at least as far as being able to link to their good information.

More likely that the compound was an FBI operation, with plans on either letting it operate and cause mayhem (see FBI and Whitey Bulger for an example), or be taken down at a convenient time, like when the FBI was under intense criticism. "See how good we are? We broke up this evil compound!" FBI is known to encourage half-brains to do bad things, so the FBI could make a public show of doing good.
