Republican, Marsha Blackburn massively wins GOP TN U.S. Senate primary
Posted on 08/02/2018 5:58:37 PM PDT by JLAGRAYFOX
Republican, Marsha Blackburn wins the U.S. Senate primary copying the recent Georgia wipe out of Democrats. The Republicans, across the board, are amassing hundreds of thousands of votes more then Democrats. The Democrat vote turn out was dismal to say the least. Marsha Blackburn will be elected the next Senator of Tennessee
Texas, Florida, Georgia & now Tennessee will be "bright red" come election day in November, 2018.

It is disturbing to see how many young people will cheerfully give up their personal freedom and ability to control their own lives in exchange for free tuition, free abortions (which is mostly what they mean when they talk about “health care”), and they crave a nanny state that will ban challenging ideas. They are slaves looking for a master.

Yes, out of the three I was hoping for Black. Also disappointed our local rep who voted for the gas tax (Improve Act) appears to have won her race too.

Great news for TN. Marsha is an honest, positive doer.
Wish I could vote for her but I am stuck in New York.
Best wishes for a win for Marsha in November.

The Governor’s race is a disgrace. Bill Lee gave money to the Democrat he’s running against, Karl “Marx” Dean ! This phony may be a genuine ringer. If Dean gets in a debate with this guy, he’s going to reveal how out of his depth he is as a lightweight.

They’ll be even MORE disturbed when they realize that half of the country will actively - and violently - oppose that system should those that want to impose it try to do so.

A lot of rural white people are still old-school hippie liberals, but they are conservative on social issues like gay marriage, but they are economic liberals.
Some of them voted for Bernie.

Black got her teeth kicked in in the Governor’s race.
Finished 3rd.
Lee came from nowhere to beat Laraza Randy too.

My impression is that southern whites have been traditionally pro-welfare state. This particular view may date from the FDR era. While many have shifted their views, thanks to the massive shift of the manufacturing sector to the south, it remains a significant, though not necessarily majority, influence.

Partner, we knew she was going to win going away after that disastrous Rino senator Corker who read the tea leaves in front of him. Also, Rino Corker was so pissed off at President Trump and one of the main reasons he did not want to raise any $$ since he was going to lose big time since he went against President Trump from the get go.
I will add that Lamar Alexander is the next Rino to get the heck out of Tennessee!
Marsha Blackburn was endorsed by President Trump and she won handily. It is the kiss of death to any republican that is not endorsed by President Trump.
I am still saying that this year looks very good for the Republican party only because President Trump is doing his job and President Trump has an energy level that is unstoppable.

Partner, you are in a very small minority that thinks this way.
Most of them are Republican now since the Rat party left us a long time ago.
The Rat party is now the Communist/Socialist Rat party and they are going to be a small Bernie Sanders party.
