Let’s hope and pray they can find her, piece together the clues to locate her.
To: SMGFan
It’s a town of 1,400 people....3,000 by 4,000 ft, and a mile off I-80. Whoever grabbed her, was simply passing through.
To: SMGFan
I’ve watched enough crime shows to know that she is dead. I hope they find the body for the family’s sake.

I watch and read a lot of the True Crime genre and the utter randomness of thing like this horrifies me.

Why the heck did it take so long to utilize the technology? It should like what is done with Amber alerts; take the disappearance seriously right away.

What is Brooklyn doing in Iowa?
To: LydiaLong
I’ve seen enough Unsolved Mysteries reruns on Roku to expect similar results.

Hiding from the tax and grab a-hole in New York.

In the last few years, I recall at least two young women who were murdered while jogging alone, though they were East Coast IIRC.

As others have said she most likely is dead. The fact that a pig farm was searched (pigs are a good way to dispose of a body)gives credence to that theory. The town is just off I-80 giving easy get away access. There are also 15 FBI agents involved so some thinks she was transported across state lines.
If a body is recovered hopefully DNA evidence will allow a familial search like how the Golden State killer was caught.

Why is this particular case of a missing young woman any more or less important than any of the other hundreds or thousands of others that go missing every year? Apparently I missed something that makes her case so much more newsworthy than any of the many many others just like it each year. Not trying to be uncaring or demeaning but just trying to understand.

One here in San Antonio 2 Christmases ago. Jogging in OP Schnabel park and attacked at random by a guy whose roommate gave him a hunting knife for Christmas. Tragic - home from PT school for the holidays.
