Why is this particular case of a missing young woman any more or less important than any of the other hundreds or thousands of others that go missing every year? Apparently I missed something that makes her case so much more newsworthy than any of the many many others just like it each year. Not trying to be uncaring or demeaning but just trying to understand.

Because the vast, VAST majority of those who go missing are either prostitutes or drug addicts. It is exceedingly rare for young females to disappear who aren’t engaged in those types of activities (no matter what the feminists would have you believe).

Viral on Facebook with ridiculous false claims there is an unusual number of missing persons in Iowa. Viral on Facebook means it gets on FR.

More than a dozen juveniles a day are reported missing in Iowa. Almost all show up in a day or two. Repeat runaways, known family problems, illegal drug use, connection to illegal aliens. They go missing, but there are explanations.

This is one of those rare ones. She’s 20, with none of the usual background.
