Mueller didn’t hire dozens and dozen of loyal HRC attorney’s and staff members in order to help anyone other than himself and her. He is the clean up guy.

I will play devil's advocate here and give a reason why he might if he was playing for the Trump side.

What if he took all of the best dem lawyers that know the workings of the Clintons and gave them a chance to get out without going down with the dem ship? The least he would have done is keep these guys off the table when it came time for the Dems to call them up for help, the bigger picture is that they know where the bodies are buried and that knowledge would unsettle those in trouble.

My problem with the whole Mueller is out to get Trump idea is that this guy has survived DC for a very long time. Trump met with him the night before he was appointed SC. Even if he started out to get Trump(which I doubt because of that meeting) why would any intelligent political animal continue with that plan when you know you have been caught in a conspiracy to take out a sitting US President. What political animal that always lands on his feet no matter which party is in power does not change direction and do all possible to help Trump at this point with the hope of his own survival? Only those sure of life in jail would continue with a plot to take out Trump.....anyone else is going to try and get out of this mess if given a chance or think helping might give them a chance to look impartial.

For Mueller to be on a mission to impeach Trump at this moment, he has to be the dumbest political animal to survive DC as long as he has.....pure luck he made it as far as he did. That I can not wrap my head around you do not get that far up the ladder without being a great Chess player in political maneuvering .

So what could possibly be accomplished in this indictment? What if POTUS suggests to Putin that he needs to get his attorneys to demand the evidence against them—THE DNC SERVER?

If that is the plan ... then can RR be a white hat again?

Did you see the picture posted of Rudy and RR the night of the Trump announcement of Kavanaugh?

The server is the only answer if RR is a good guy. You can not go to trial and prove Russian hacking without the server. If he is bad and thinking this trial will never happen....what a stupid move and expect Putin not to call your bluff like is being done with the last Russia indictment to come from Mueller. This has the feel of an play being acted out and not a real indictment, especially when it is so weak.

Part of it is Congress’s ceding the power of the purse through Continuing Resolutions. If they had a normal budget process, they already could have had all DOJ budget lines zeroed out until they had all the docs they wanted. But with a CR, their only weapon is a full-scale government shutdown which they do not have the will or

With all due respect, LS, are you sure about this one? Wouldn't the same dynamic of "government shutdown" be an option for during every stage of normal budgetary process? If either the House, Senate, reconciliation. or Executive refused to pass a budget, wouldn't the government "shut down?"

In that respect, there isn't a difference between running the budget via continuing resolutions or formal budgets. Or am I wrong?

Also, if you don't have time to interpret Q, there are plenty of people that do and you can read up on them in your spare time.

We (and Trump/Q) could sure use somebody like you on the team. You do want to be on the right side of this thing when the undeniable truth comes out. Again, with all due respect, goodman.
