Pubs are just as much part of the Deep State as the Dems.
Good to think about how Putin views the deep state. He is wealthy, too. Has he ever been to one of those billionaire, trillionaire, conventions where they yak about how to run the world and get more money or is Putin an outsider like Trump, or is Putin paid by the deep state?
I was wondering why putin looked so sheepish, then went to see him with GW and the same look. I bet he doesn’t ever have to answer questions without giving them to the reporters or getting them beforehand, eh?

My quick take on the Tump/Putin media mess:
I think that the press and the DS really don’t want Pres. Trump and Putin talking...like when you were a kid.
Your brothers and sisters and you had a party while the ‘rents were out of town. Aside from the fact that the whole town knows it (pop 250) you really don’t want your ‘rents to know about it. You swear each other to secrecy. Any dirt you have on each other is held over their heads.
You go to the other kids and parents, cajoling them to not talk about the party, to ANYONE. The whole idea is to keep your parents from putting together the clues, the strange looks in the grocery store, the weird conversations on the corner, all of it stilted to keep the secret (which by now has become the town’s secret).
And then one day, you piss off the old guy on the corner. He told you to stop cutting through his backyard. So, he threatens to tell your parents about the party....unless...
So you spend the next three weekends cleaning out his gutters and chicken coop. Man, you are really desperate!
And then one night, who shows up for dinner with your family? THE OLD COOT ON THE CORNER! You are so busted.
