Finding fault with Gohmert about that is like tsk tsk-ing a warrior who’s busy fighting the enemy because he used a bad word, or has his uniform messed up.

Don’t get me wrong, I think he deserves a lot worse. It is just not appropriate, in my opinion, in that setting to bring it up. It speaks to his character, of course, but it is not part of the illegal behavior that is being investigated. I do not make my judgment based on any sympathy for the worm, believe me.
