Don’t get me wrong, I think he deserves a lot worse. It is just not appropriate, in my opinion, in that setting to bring it up. It speaks to his character, of course, but it is not part of the illegal behavior that is being investigated. I do not make my judgment based on any sympathy for the worm, believe me.

Of course, yet watching how the Dems turned it into a free for all, I’m guessing it was the correct time and venue. Aren’t we all just so exhausted watching these children get away with every dang thing? I’m at the point that whatever it takes to shake this whole thing loose, I’m all for it.

However, imho, it has a certain amount of fittingness to it IN THAT it shows a pattern of lying in his life. And, it serves to rattle his demeanor and maybe fracture his slick facade a bit. All to the good, imho. Besides, he didn’t seem to give a flip about propriety regarding any other folks on the other side.
