Honeycutt was selected by the Sacramento Kings in the second round of the 2011 NBA draft. He played with the Kings for two seasons and in 2013 moved to Europe, where he played for EuroLeague clubs Khimki and Anadolu Efes. He commited suicide following a shootout with police on July 6, 2018.

Only played for two seasons. Never heard of him before this.

He fought the law, and the law won.

“The LAPD added Honeycutt appeared to suffer “injures consistent with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”

Hard ta tell, but Homey might have found the "atmosphere" in Russia a bit different than here.

Still, condolences to his family & friends.

Wow- just what was so awful in his life that he went on a raging suicide bender? Gotta be some drug influences thrown in.

I’m not blaming the police but never ever call them unless it is absolutely positively the last choice.

Studio City. Rental homes average $25K a month. Swank area. The “fantastic kid” was probably involved with unethical actions, like drugs and theft.
