I wont be crossing any to watch it.
My husband just counted up all the videos that we own - over a hundred forty.
There isn’t one with a Fonda in it, except ‘Doc Hollywood’.
Peter’s daughter, alas...
Interesting - I tried to submit a comment and they wont accept because I didn’t enter a code that is NOT visible
Nice collection......you MUST trash the Bridget movie.
The shocking thing about the counter-culture Easy Rider-—written and co-starring Fonda and Dennis Hopper:
In 2010 Hopper said he was a Republican, an ultra conservative, and when he died, he had a funeral Mass at a Catholic Church.
And here I was anxiously awaiting the premier of ... what was it, Boundaries?
I don’t ‘get’ Nancy Sinatra? Is she favoring the anti-Trump of showing what morons are doing? Her father was friends with a number of Rs. Think what a rotten father Henry Fonda had to be to end up with the 2 that he did.
She’s a relatively minor character in that film - though she did very well in it.
I haven’t heard her trash-talking about Trump - she seems to have left the public scene. And it’s one of our favorite movies, so...
I don’t care what actors think - and I don’t expect them to be geniuses regarding political philosophy. I just care about how well they do the jobs that I’m paying them for. I can respect a lot of actors who disagree with me politically, just as I can my personal friends who do.
I just get annoyed when they start to think that being in a movie, or singing a song, somehow makes them experts on politics - ( and everything else under the Sun!) - or when they have the poor judgment to splash themselves around vulgarly and think that it somehow makes them ‘special’.
I can’t boycott it cause I wasn’t gonna see it anyway.
Fonda should be put in cage, with cat ladies who still remember him.
I have a book entitled “The Fondas” which is very interesting. Peter Fonda had serious mental/personality issues.
It’s in my office somewhere but if I touch anything, I will be buried alive forever so you’ll have to google the book to see what it is about.
The only one sane in that family was Henry Fonda.
#60. Easy Rider was a film about the fate of two drug smugglers and a liberal lawyer (Jack Nicholson) on a road trip in the South.
Nicholson was perhaps the only character with some character as he went south to help in the civil rights movement.
My Nancy Sinatra autograph in the “Elvis Is” card collection, scene from “Speedway”, just went to my “For Sale” list. None of my grandchildren know who she is, so it’s no loss to me and a few dollars for their college education.
However, I’m keeping my Yvonne Craig and Roy Walker (Jordanaires band member)autographed cards.
We know this much - - Hollywood will NOT give this jerk the ‘Roseanne’ treatment...
#9. Now if porn actress Fonda Peter were to marry Stormy Daniels, you’d have some interesting names - Fonda Daniels and Stormy Peter.
Then we could book them with Jane “I’m fond of any peter” Fonda for a road trip to Hanoi. She could perform under her old stage name, “Hanoi Whore”.
Now that would be quite a show. Three old farts trying to strip while the audience pukes nguc mam and rice.
Our revenge on the reds would be complete!
Thanks... would never watch a movie with that jerk in it... too ‘lowlife’ for me.
Many years ago, a movie called The Cheyenne social club stared Jimmy Stuart and Henry Fonda. In one scene, Fonda and Stuart are riding together on their horses and the subject came up about Stuart being a Republican and Fonda being a Democrat. Avery funny scene. Here it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8qx8yNhTdM
As I remember it, the two of them stopped at a hippie commune of some kind, and there was a girl there who was attracted to one of them, Fonda I think. He considered staying but was too attached to his traveling ways.
I could be wrong, or have a distorted image, since it was a long time ago, but that’s how I remember it.
Frankly, never heard of it until he tw÷Ted today. Agree with the boy cott but never would have seen it any way.
So Roseanne’s TV show get’s pulled because she “insulted” a White House “has been” and Fonda’s movie will be released in a few days even after he actually suggested threats to the President’s family. Besides some backlash from people he cares nothing about (us) - I doubt anything else will happen to him.
So - I’m all for boycotting this movie and any other movie he’s been in (most all “B” movies, btw).
I can proudly say that Ive never seen a movie that he has been in.
In fact, the only movie of his that I know of is Easy Rider. Ive never had any desire to see it though.
The Fondas are a truly detestable family.
