In 2010 Hopper said he was a Republican, an ultra conservative, and when he died, he had a funeral Mass at a Catholic Church.
She’s a relatively minor character in that film - though she did very well in it.
I haven’t heard her trash-talking about Trump - she seems to have left the public scene. And it’s one of our favorite movies, so...
I don’t care what actors think - and I don’t expect them to be geniuses regarding political philosophy. I just care about how well they do the jobs that I’m paying them for. I can respect a lot of actors who disagree with me politically, just as I can my personal friends who do.
I just get annoyed when they start to think that being in a movie, or singing a song, somehow makes them experts on politics - ( and everything else under the Sun!) - or when they have the poor judgment to splash themselves around vulgarly and think that it somehow makes them ‘special’.
