My daughter votes in Virginia today.
The ballot for her is only the US Senate primary. Two good candidates and one who sounds OK but is an also ran.
Corey Stewart is in the lead but I think Nick Freitas will give him a run. I think she’s going to vote for Freitas.
We discussed it and I told her either will be good.
I truly believe that primary elections are more important than the general election. Wise voters take the time to determine which candidate more closely reflects their views and interests and votes that way. In the primary, you vote who you want. in the general, you vote who you got.
This is the time for electoral purity.
The Maryland primary is in a couple weeks. I’m actually stressing over a couple Delegate candidates. Current Delegate is OK, but just OK. The other is a lib. We have two delegates to vote for. Republican field has four. The incumbent, one really good guy. One who seems good and likely better than the incumbent and a fourth guy who is a ghost.
Our State’s Attorney (Prosecutor) is retiring after 30 years in office. Wide open field. I need to decide on best of two candidates. Tough choices.

I am going shortly to vote for Corey Stewart for Senate in Virginia.
President Trump needs reinforcements.
Tim Kaine needs to be removed from office.
Freitas is the Cheap Labor Express choice.
He will be a Rubio at best.
