“Contemptibles,” and “Corruptibles” deserve disdain for their self-righteous indignation and intolerance. They aren’t “nasty people,” they are “lacking people.” In spite of all their wealth, they lack something that would make them worthwhile and relevant, as they seem to have an irrational need to be. What is it that they lack? Anyone have an answer? I’m thinking a soul ... Though what does it matter, as long as they stay irrelevant and have no power to destroy the rest of us and create the world of chaos they seem to desire.

I have to admit that I’m a big fan of Robert De Niro, at least his early work, but he’s been mostly awful the past few decades. I thought it was because he’s getting older, maybe doesn’t have the passion any more, or possibly the roles just ain’t there, but something on The Daily Beast has me thinking it’s because he’s slipping into insanity. De Niro is predicting Hillary Clinton will win the White House in 2016 and his praise of her shows the telltale signs of dementia or maybe crack use.
