Better question is why anyone pays Rex Reed for his opinions on movies. Hes been the worst critic in America for decades, and frequently gets caught writing things that prove he didnt even watch the movie.
I have seen him in other movies. I believe that is his real forehead.
Made into a video game?
lemme guess... money
Needed the money, why else?
She is the ugliest beautiful woman I ever saw.
High Pockets Kelly played with the NY Giants under John McGraw, he is considered the worst player in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
The phrasing in your sentence reminded me of him.
Back when I was in college, about 50 years ago, we’d have, almost weekly on Thursday nights, joyous drunken movie nights when anybody could make any obscene, ridiculous remark he wanted to. We didn’t watch “Reform School Girl” only because it hadn’t been made yet. If it had, the remarks would have been hilariously obscene and totally sexist, to the point of possibly getting us driven off campus on a present day PC campus. This looks like the kind of movie we happy drunks would have really enjoyed, with appropriately illicit comments.
Financial desperation? Just a wild guess.
They all do it: hold their nose while taking the check. Ignore the critics afterwards.
Mystery Science Theater 3000....................
Jodie Foster retired from show biz for life. She lied?
She must be broke..................

The sheriff in the same Kung Fu episode is Kenneth Tobey, who among other roles was the guard at the main gate in the 1949 movie Twelve O'clock High, who gets verbally reamed out by Gregory Peck's Gen. Frank Savage--ironic, because Peck and Tobey went to acting school together.
That and it’s not easy getting work in Hollywood.
Or she shot this movie before officially retiring.
And barring the uglification for Oscar contention (like the movie Monster), intentionally making yourself look that ugly on a woman accents the worst in people’s minds, potentially ending your career.
Guess he didn’t like it.
