I just see this whole case as depressing. If I told my parents “I am a girl” when I was 3, they would have just corrected me and that would be that.
When did the talk of 3 year olds get such cachet that parents are expected to take the kid to a quack and get them loaded on hormones.
Actually, no, they usually don't. It is a very serious, involved surgery, and combined with the mutilation they are already doing, it would complicate issues immensely.
Normal people are blissfully unaware of sexuality when they are children. I'm glad I was fortunate enough to be raised under such a godly, responsible household.
