Got one of those
The one here has three drawers on each side and an extension of the table top that folds out.
Although the machine looks good for something that was used normally for who knows how long, the cabinet is rather beat up.
You are well positioned to be on the cutting edge. After ten years of narrow ties and lapels, the pendulum has begun to swing the other way. This month’s GQ magazine features suits with wide lapels. Not crazy wide like the ‘70s but wider than average. And of course as lapels widen so do ties. I like the narrow look but I also like wider, so I think this will be a fun change. But there is a dark side: they’re also trying to bring back pleated pants...
Yeah. Great resolution, that film. Used it from the 1960s. I had regular box-type cameras for it, as well.
I found the serial number on the one here and will look myself.
Me and my wife like antiques and the Singer as well as the Victrola were from her family.
Although instant, Polaroids required FedEx for rapid transmittal
lol
I purchased a new Nikon D5600 this year and learning to get the most out of it.
I still own a Nikon film camera and all of the lens I purchased work very well with the new digital Nikon.
I had some left over 35mm film - had to be at least 10 years old and shot some of it. Processed at Walgreen’s and the photos came out great just as they used to.
Many professional photographers shoot both digital and film.

I’ve always envied folks that bought high-function cameras...whether film or digital...and took the time to learn the operation. We never bought a camera of that type, although I’d considered it. We’ve relied on smaller, less complicated cameras through the years, and now, phone cameras.
Interesting quote from one of your attached articles...
“Film, meanwhile, pushes photographers to rethink how they shoot. You cant just shoot a hundred shots of your subject and review them immediately, says Olbrich. Film forces you to think about the image, plan the image and really create the image mentally before you actually do the shoot. Film photographers believe that this process results in much more artistic and, in some cases, much more spectacular images.”
Good scanners came before good digital cameras.
