A viral video shows a young woman getting pummeled by a cop during a wild scuffle on a New Jersey beach at the start of the Memorial Day weekend.
The 54-second clip captures a chaotic scene of two cops struggling to subdue the woman as a child cries and someone repeatedly shouts,

...Shes later heard screaming, ... I didnt do anything wrong!

Yeah, that (or dint do nuffin) is a standard response. I hope this under age (but already has a child) woman has learned that if YOU are physical (e.g., kicking a cop, as she did) the cop in turn may get physical with you.
Ah dint do nuffin!

I hope that girl robbed a liquor store or something... Was cursing loudly, smoking crack on the beach. Something. How else to justify arrest and beating.
Lawsuit time.
I had a close family member get pulled over for a minor traffic violation. He was 19, a university student, and had a case of unopened beer in the car on the way to a party (and dont even bother with the self righteous indignation unless you NEVER had a drink until you were 21). They booked him for illegal possession of alcohol. When they were processing him at the station he rode the elevator with a cop who was a foot talller than him and outweighed him by 150 lbs. In the elevator the cop pushes him up against the wall, and starts saying Why are you resisting! Why are you trying to take my gun! The family member said Im not resisting, and I dont want your gun. He said it looked like the cop was going to hit him when the elevator opened and there were other people suddenly watching.
Im sure the cop is so proud of himself. Where do we find theses morons.
Police officers crazily screaming Stop Resisting! Stop Resisting!

I guess that, when viewing the videos, it escaped you that all the while the female cop was saying stop resisting the woman was actually physically resisting to include kicking at the officers.
Took 3 big cops to get her under control she was fighting so hard. She brought this one on herself.
I’m 3 times her age, and I’ve gotten this far without needing a police beatdown.
She apparently was there with her ‘baby daddy’ and a friend. Wonder if he’s the one standing in the background of two of those pictures.
Please, there are two of them and they each outweigh her by about 50 pounds, and they couldnt restrain her without punching her repeatedly in the BACK of the head? Maybe she was mouthy or a bitch - Ive seen dozens of videos of GOOD cops excercising tremendous discipline and respect in the face of far worst treatment from citizens.
True but I would like to hear the rest of the story before deeming them bad cops.
Being polite and respectful when dealing with law enforcement goes a long way. During my interactions with police over the years, I've gotten away with speeding, running stop signs, even with an open beer container in my car, all because I knew to be polite, respectful and keep my mouth shut. Even this young woman conceded in the article that they were willing to let her walk away (even though she was underage and had alcohol).
But then she decided to mouth off. Couldn't just walk away and get on with her weekend, could she?
Another Officer Joe DeAngelo without the impulse control.
Asking a cop “dont you have something better to do?” is now grounds for an arrest? Wow.
What law, exactly, is that? Has freedom of speech been suspended in New Jersey??
Feminists wanted to be treated as equal with men, so what’s the problem with this?
“Yeah. But I’m not doing it now.” —The Untouchables (1987)
Again, I would prefer to hear the whole story before rendering judgement. But suspension of freedom of speech does not enter into it. Freedom of speech does have it's consequences. If I walk into a dive bar, I'm perfectly free to walk up to the biggest bruiser in the joint and insult him. I might get my face smashed up in return. But I do have the right to do that.
Respect and politeness goes a long way.
"...it escaped you that all the while..."
The big bruiser who hit you would then be arrested for assault and battery. You insulting him does not give him the right to beat you. It is against the law.
That’s a private dispute, that’s not the same as what happened here.
Here you have a law enforcement officer, with all the special tools and powers given by the State, punching a young, helpless woman and apparently arresting someone for saying one sentence, in a country where there’s Constitutional protections on free speech.
So, what law can you break by saying one sentence? Yes we don’t have all the details, but from what we DO have on video, this looks real bad for the cops.
Cop punches like a girl. And why waste your strength punching her head which makes no sense when you can focus on grabbing arms, wrists and ankles. Silly.
Yep. So often, the truth resides in what is not shown.
