A 31-year-old Florida woman mad at her neighbor for letting a dog relieve itself on her lawn ended up attacking the two late Monday morning, news reports say.
Sylvia Shikita Mari White, of Tavares, told deputies that at about 11:30 a.m. she went outside to confront the woman, according to a Lee County Sheriff’s Office report obtained by the Daily Commercial.
White began yelling at the woman, who eventually kept on walking with dog in tow.
White went back into the house, but when the duo came back from their walk, she greeted them outside with a black club, according to the Daily Commercial.
White nailed the woman in the back with the club before swinging and hitting the dog, authorities said.
When police arrived at White’s home, northwest of Orlando, they found her inside sitting on her couch.
“I’m in trouble,” she told them while holding her head in her hands, the Daily Commercial reported.
White was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and booked into the Lee County Jail.

I’m on her side. My neighbor had a good-size white lab-nice dog, but it kept pooping in my yard.
It’s in the 90s, won’t take long for nature to take care of the situation.
People should clean up after their dogs. I always clean up after my corgi. If people don’t want to clean up after dogs that leave human-sized poops, maybe they should get a smaller dog.
when we lived in town, it is very aggravating to have people walk with their dog AWAY from their own lawn so the dog can defecate on the neighbors lawn.....

She took it too far, but I don’t blame her for getting upset.
That waste matter does not just disappear when you leave the neighborhood. The homeowners have not given you permission to use their property as your dog’s daily toilet.
Even if the owner puts gloves on and removes the solid waste, the urine has already soaked into the soil.
I like the line “She greeted them with a black baseball bat”.
Just get a box of baggies, stick one in the pocket and walk the pooch. The biggest problem is if said pooch has digestive issues. Plastic grocery bags also work well.
We just got in the habit of picking up, especially when we walked four dogs. No one wants dog poo on their front lawn.
The dog may have crapped on her lawn but she needed to clobber the owner.
BTW. Black clubs are more dangerous than normal clubs. Even worse if they have extended ‘clips’ and bayonet lugs. Just saying.

Me too. It is infuriating to see somebody standing there and letting their dog “go” all over your lawn, plants, etc. Even dog urine kills the grass. Why can’t these dog owners just drag their dogs to the curb (the way we used to)? It would even be easier to pick up the doggie doo afterwards if they just had them go in the curb.
My idiot neighbor did this to me a bunch of times. So the last time it happened I put on a latex glove, scooped it up and mushed it up under her cars door handle. She swore at me she found it but I haven’t had a dog issue with her since.

I was walking near the Chattahoochee River in Columbus, Georgia yesterday. I saw a sign that said dog urine kills grass. This is a cat/dog poop free zone.
I can understand her frustration but this is a dangerous woman.
Annoying but did you hit her and her dog with a club?
