Doesn't she mean Leftist Hollywood Has a Problem with Female Directors? Since they're the only industry hiring them.

Yes, what is she really saying? A liberal/leftist paradise in Hollywood, are deficient in hiring woman directors? But they are liberal so how can they be discriminating???
To: EdnaMode
I want to see a leftist call her out on her First World, white-privilege “problems”.

Bingo. Hollywood is Progressivism Central, and, yet, it isn’t a Progressive utopia in spite of being run by Progressively Progressive Progressives.

"The actress/filmmaker was not shy to share her thoughts about the rise of female directors, as that faction of the film industry has been the last area that needs to see a change. She also made a point to mention that Europe has always been ahead. I'll bet she just adores Leni Riefenstahl's Triumph of the Will.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I don’t go see a movie because of who the director is. Usually, I don’t know until the credits start. And, the way the Hollyweirdos have been acting, I may not be going to any of their movies again.

The film industry might have a problem with it, but I doubt all of America does.

Just look at Wonder Woman.
The super successful movie?
Does she think dudes didn’t want to see that because Gal Gadot is smokin’, and scantily clad?

Jodie Foster’s directorial debut, “Little Man Tate,” was a terrific movie. She did a great job directing it.
Haven’t seen her other helming efforts.

Dopey leftwing lesbian airhead who came to fame by reading words put into her mouth by others. If there aren’t “enough” female directors, blame Hollywood. People in America don’t care that much who directs their movies. They just want a good story, good characters, and no left wing preachiness. Unfortunately leftwign lesbian directors like movies with the leftwing preachiness so of course nobody wants to see them.

No, Jodie, America has a problem with bad movies no matter who the director might be. She’s been directing for over 30 years.
American Lois Weber began directing films around 1910 and by “1920, Weber was considered the “premier woman director of the screen and author and producer of the biggest money making features in the history of the film business.”
