I’ve got a couple of Bottles of Mick Fleetwood Wine that he Autographed for me at a local Costco years ago.

Also have a nice picture of me and him. Nice fellow in person.

The picture will help the provenance when I sell them on Ebay if I outlive him.

Yeah, that didn’t track. Prince would have come up with something much more interesting than that mindlessly chugging guitar. Annoying as hell.

Fleetwood Mac is one of my favorite all time bands. First saw them in 1978, and 3 times after that. The latest was in 2013, minus Christi McVie. I was really excited that she was joining up with them for this so called farewell tour. Now that Lindsey is gone, I am not planning to go. For me, Fleetwood Mac is the group that includes Lindsey and Stevie. Nothing wrong with the previous band members, and maybe this tour will be good also.

Feel the same way about the Eagles. My wife has got me going to one of their concerts this year. Really didn’t want to go without Glenn Frey, but my wife loves Chris Stapleton.

I suppose if I were a FMac fan, I would find a reason to defend him. But, I’m not...so I won’t.

I’m not particularly a FMac fan. I just have a number of their albums and many others as well from that era.

But you are not the first to state that he is a jerk.......................

There’s a FM Tribute cover band called Rumors that play the tourist traps venues here on the Gulf Coast. They sound exactly like them......................

The Idea that there are 70 year old Rock & rollers is just embarrassing. Retire already...

Frankie Valli still puts on a helluva show at 82. He can't hit the high notes anymore, but he's close enough.

Two more greats:

The Chain
Don’t Stop

I love all three singers harmonizing on those songs.

Agree.... for me Fleetwood Mac doesn’t work without Buckingham... and the Eagles don’t work without Glen Frey. Just personal opinion.

My co-worker won some contest sponsored by Stanley and Simmons to promote their football team. She said Stanley was classy and a delight to everyone. Simmons was a horses ass.

I’m not sure what we are disagreeing on, I never once denied the talent of Buckingham, my point was Fleetwood Mac would not be the Fleetwood Mac we know today with him and Stevie joining the band.

I have heard the Buckingham Nicks album, and there is no debate to be really had about the talent of them both... though Nicks is an absolute whackadoo.... Talented yes, but she’s out there....

Lindsey is no picnic either... but I don’t think anyone seriously would argue they are or were not talented individuals.

My point all along is that without Lindsay, and by the fact he required them to take Stevie as well, when he was asked to join Fleetwood Mac, is what made Fleetwood Mac what they became.

You don’t get Rumors or the Fleetwood Mac albumn without them... And while TUSK was certainly a let down, there wasn’t a single studio album that they were both part of that wasn’t Multi platinum.. and this from a band that had 9 albums before they joined and had only had 1 single platinum and 2 gold... and was frankly, commercially anyway, declining... And in the studio albums released after they left, none of them went platinum either.

As I said earlier, I was very glad I got to see the full lineup from their heyday play together in person. I really can’t imagine going to see them without Lindsay, anymore than I could without Stevie Nicks... and the first time I saw them was without McVie, and was very pleased she had rejoined the band after decades away for their last tour.

I am sure they will still put on a good show.. but I just can’t see myself going.

Fleetwood Mac is nothing more than a one hit album wonder.

No, no, no, and its not about just about albums ...

For example, three founding members of the band were members of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers.

Come on, admit it...

He was just distraught at not being invited to the wedding at the castle that was named after him.
