Lindsey Buckingham has publicly addressed his firing from Fleetwood Mac for first time.
The 68-year-old was playing a fundraiser gig for Democratic congressional candidate Mike Levin in California on Friday night, when he spoke about his sacking three months ago.

Without Lindsay it’s not Fleetwood Mac. More like a tribute band.

This was always true.
Yet the horror of 1992 was made more manifest with these horrible sounds.

They’ve got some decent tracks like “The Chain” and “Edge of Seventeen”. But yeah if I hear “Landslide” again I’m pretty sure I’ll go postal.
Fleetwood Mac existed well before Lindsey and it will exist well after Lindsey..............
Bring back Peter Green
My sister is the executive director of a theater back in my home town. She’s been able to score many big names to play there...and it’s a big deal since the town is somewhat podunk. She got Lindsey Buckingham to play there some time ago.
She let’s me know from time to time which artists are good people and who are not. Buckingham is #1 on my sister’s ASSHAT list. Very “difficult” to work with. Professionalism stopped her from saying more.
Edge of Seventeen is not a Fleetwood Mac song. It’s from one of Nicks solo albums.

Sure, that’s why it carries the names of Fleetwood and McVie. Lindsay is a little bitch, although hella player. But so were Bob Welch and Peter Green (players, not bitches).
Christine and Stevie “made” the band.
Edge of Seventeen was written and produced by Prince. He produced Nick’s solo album. (He’s playing most of the instruments, especially the smoking guitars).
I really think a lot of these older rock bands like Mac, KISS, Aerosmith, and the Stones need to hang it up for good!
Edge of 17 is Stevie Nicks solo.
