Keziah Daum, an 18-year-old from Utah in the United States, who has no Chinese roots, was accused of cultural appropriation after posting photographs on Twitter that featured her in a traditional Chinese qipao, or cheongsam.
The dress symbolised a silent protest to promote gender equality after the fall of the dynasties and the beginning of the republican period in the early 1900s, and was worn during the 1919 reformist May Fourth Movement.

The snowflakes are usually ABCs.
Is it too much to ask for people to lighten up?
I think it is a beautiful dress.
Ping.
This girl demonstrated - never apologize, double down instead. Agitators never have a plan B when you tell them to piss off. But if you apologize, theyve got fifty more ways to torture you.
Zhang Chenchen further defined the word "baizuo" with the definition "People who only care about topics such as immigration, minorities, LGBT and the environment" and have no sense of real problems in the real world;
They are hypocritical humanitarians who advocate for peace and equality only to satisfy their own feeling of moral superiority; they are obsessed with political correctness to the extent that they tolerate backwards Islamic values for the sake of multiculturalism;
They believe in the welfare state that benefits only the idle and the free riders; they are the ignorant and arrogant westerners who pity the rest of the world and think they are saviours.
Baizuo is used as an insult amongst Chinese netizens.
Chinese actually LOVE that Americans/Westerners are adopting aspects of their culture. For Chinese, it makes them proud that their culture offers something interesting and useful to the rest of the world.
You would have to explain to the average Chinese what the asinine concept of “cultural appropriation” means. And having done so - they will think Americans holding this view are insane.
Any American-Asian SJW leftist who complains against this has their head up their arse and is demonstrating that in fact, they actually know nothing about China.
Those Chinese get it.
Poll at website: Is it OK for non-Chinese people to wear cheongsams? 96% yes.
Baizuo literally means "white leftists" i.e.) entitled, phony, condescending leftists, who actually are very selfish.
Where was all this cultural foolishness, when in a Bruce Lee movie no less, a STRAWBERRY BLONDE is wearing the same kind of dress?!?!?!? (re: Enter The Dragon, scene with John Saxon and pretty strawberry blonde)
As far as i’m concerned, these WHINERS can “SIUTA”!!!
Great definition.
They have a wonderful term for our snowflakes.

A baizuo only cares about topics such as immigration, minorities, LGBT and the environment while being obsessed with political correctness to the extent that they import backwards Islamic values for the sake of multiculturalism.
The Chinese see the baizuo as ignorant and arrogant westerners who pity the rest of the world and think they are saviours.
Justin Trudeau’s worldview is a low-resolution caricature of an adult’s worldview.
“Oh yeah. He’s a total BAIZUO.”
So when my Son got his black belt in Tae Kwon Do, was he appropriating Korean culture?
I also admit that just the other night, we made stir-fry, IN A WOK, should I expect a knock at the door from the SJW Police?
I remember the Spiderman movie that came out a decade ago. Kirsten Dunst with orange-tinted hair in a Japanese silk kimono with chopsticks in her hair. For some reason that all worked, and was smoking hot.
Best worn by persons who are not overweight.
