Q "drops" (i.e., posts) can be read with their original formatting on various websites. Sometimes the Q drop websites come under cyber attack or stop updating. This week, I've been using the following link:

Q drops (i.e., posts) often use unfamiliar acronyms. Swordmaker maintains a list of acronym definitions to help FReepers understand Q drop text. BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:30 P.M.) – The Russian Aerospace Forces launched several airstrikes over the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate, yesterday, targeting a number of areas controlled by Islamist rebels.

Budget director Mick Mulvaney is developing a proposal, expected to be released around May 1, to re-open the $1.3 trillion omnibus package.

White House officials stressed that Trump was not the first president to attempt such retroactive cuts under a 1974 law that allows the president to propose to Congress rescinding certain budget authority. Congress then has 45 days to pass a law codifying the cuts, known as rescissions, or the spending remains in effect.

“Many presidents have used rescission authority,” said White House legislative affairs director Marc Short. “Even Bill Clinton used it multiple times and I think it’s a perfectly appropriate mechanism for the executive branch to send back to Congress opportunities to save taxpayer dollars.”

Short nevertheless said that rescissions are not a long-term solution to the problem of massive spending bills.

I don’t know much about the power grid with respect to surge protection or EMP protection. As I said in my post, I’m confident in our lighting products holding fast during an EMP but don’t know what will happen to the electrical service that powers our products.

Most high voltage transmission lines like the 745,000 volt systems that AEP operates, one or two conductors are strung along the tops of the towers for lightning protection. What happens at a substation or generating plant I do not know.
