A newly discovered network of fluid-filled channels in the human body may be a previously-unknown organ, and it seems to help transport cancer cells around the body.
This discovery was made by chance, from routine endoscopies a procedure that involves inserting a thin camera into a persons gastrointestinal tract. Newer approaches enable doctors to use this procedure to get a microscopic look at the tissue inside a persons gut at the same time, with some surprising results. {snip}
This organ was likely never seen before because standard approaches for processing and visualising human tissue causes the channels to drain, and the collagen fibres that give the network its structure to collapse in on themselves. This would have made the channels appear like a hard wall of dense protective tissue, instead of a fluid-filled cushion.
But as well as protecting organs, the network may also aid the spread of cancer. When Theises team looked at samples taken from people with invasive cancers, they found evidence that cancer cells that had worked their way out of their original tissues could find their way into these channels, which took them directly to the lymphatic system. Once they get in, its like theyre on a water slide, says Theise. We have a new window on the mechanism of tumour spread.

It’s easier to tuna fish...

Most lies are hard to believe.
These paths are part of the lymph system, and have been known for a long time.
Ever listen to “Dr. Bob Marshall” on the radio?
He’s been talking about them for 40 years that I know of.

Ahhh, but tuna don’t have medical insurance to bilk!

It’s the FASCIA!!!!
Fa-fa-fa FASCIA!
Close, but no cigar.
Er...
I don’t understand how a clew would help?
Read tge article ..
Just last year they discovered the lymph system goes to the brain.
Vincent Price discovered this “Organ” back in the late 50’s.

Isn't that what the commies yelled when Mussolini marched on Rome?
no, they are separate from the lymph system
try reading the article

I’ll trust the people who have been working with the system for the last century to get it right.
Nope.
Not believing this is ‘newly discovered’.
They knew.
New York University School of Medicine is not a credible source for you?
Seems credible enough for Time, CNN, WebMD, Today, Business Insider, LiveScience, Newsweek, ScientificAmerican, National Geographic, all the alphabet news outlets, and other peer-reviewed publications to publish

Yes, the human body is one huge organ.......

My thoughts exactly.....as a nurse with 27 years experience, my first thought was that this sounds like interstitial fluid. Considering that interstitial channels were identified in the liver by Mall in 1906, I’d hardly say “newly discovered” nor would I saw a “new organ.” If they want to say there is an expanded understanding of the role of the lymphatic system in fluid transport, ok, I could maybe get behind that. But otherwise this looks suspiciously like click-bait to me.
Peculiar on how not a one of those acupuncture points is in the penis or testicles. It’s almost like nobody ever wanted to stick a needle in their general and 2 colonels.
I’d in interested in the source of your information.
Sounds a bit high and mighty to me that this amazing new organ has gone unnoticed by millions of doctors the world over when natural health practitioners have “been aware of it for centuries....” They must NOT have been aware of it for centuries, or it wouldn’t be “newly discovered,” now would it? Unless of course the natural health practitioners didn’t find it necessary to enlighten the entire rest of the world of its existence...... /s
