... With network time slots and movie theater screens becoming a precious commodity, its no wonder Netflix looks so lucrative. Thanks to our source, Nelson Murdoch, we are pleased to announce that the fourth film in the Narnia series The Silver Chair, will be a Netflix exclusive original movie and will be available on the streaming service December 6th of next year. ...

Susan Rice, Obama’s official liar just joined the board of Netflix.
Think I will pass on Netflix.
Sorry, but I think this is an April Fools’ joke. Go to the site. Too bad, because there are a lot of fake news items that would be fun if true “Until We Have Faces” to be made into movie, Space Trilogy to be made into movie, etc.
I am talking about them opening up their vaults of classic TV shows and streaming them. I would pay if NBC had its own streaming channel where I can watch Johnny Carson all over again. Or they can introduce new TV shows without worrying about censors or people missing them.
Nobody gets the family together and eagerly wait for 7pm to hit to watch their favorite show anymore. The TV networks, and the movie business, are the equivalent of newspapers now. If they don't get on board to match the preferences of their audiences, they are going to get chewed up and spit out by Netflix. Like Blockbuster found out after they laughed Netflix out of the boardroom when Netflix discussed a deal.
CBS has one, but next to none of their stuff is available on it. They have about half the I Love Lucy episodes. Keep in mind that we don’t have old shows because most everything offends a power group. They went back and hacked a lot of shows to shreds twenty years ago and still find things to be offended at.
PC rules everything.
Netflix started out decent but Leftism has creeped into their work. I know by the second season, many of their series will be openly anti-American.
Oh damn! I feel like a blockhead - I should have guessed that it was a prank.
But the filming of The Silver Chair has often been discussed. I wish it would go forward.
Love the Narnia books, but we cancelled Netflix and joined the NRA for 5 years over Susan Rice. Win - Win!
The Magician’s Nephew would make a better movie.
What is Blockbuster?
Is it a company?
Didn’t have Netflix, so I got Hulu because they sponsored Laura. They canceled their sponsorship the very next day. So I canceled Hulu.
Now I see AT&T has dropped her, so I’m shopping for another wireless service. So far only Sprint has adequate coverage where I’m at. But they don’t have coverage at some places I like to go.
This is going to be tough.
Check here for the press release, and some cool concept art for the TV series.
Amen, Ijust cancelled and let those dumbasses know why.
Netflix is NOT a money-maker. In fact, it is a money-loser, and that will get worse since net neutrality will not happen.
At this point it can only be assumed that if Netflix makes a pro-Christian movie it’s doing so to produce a list of Christians to be targeted for nefarious purposes.
There’s a recent listing for it on IMDB, could be for real.
But I think Tilda Swinton would be horribly miscast as Jadis in this novel.
(And I think that the guitarist Dave Bainbridge would be an *excellent* Puddleglum.)
You can watch Johnny Carson for free on Antenna TV every night. They even show the hour and a half shows on the weekend.
Thank God no net neutrality. Why would you want to pay even more for everything?
