I am talking about them opening up their vaults of classic TV shows and streaming them. I would pay if NBC had its own streaming channel where I can watch Johnny Carson all over again. Or they can introduce new TV shows without worrying about censors or people missing them.
Nobody gets the family together and eagerly wait for 7pm to hit to watch their favorite show anymore. The TV networks, and the movie business, are the equivalent of newspapers now. If they don't get on board to match the preferences of their audiences, they are going to get chewed up and spit out by Netflix. Like Blockbuster found out after they laughed Netflix out of the boardroom when Netflix discussed a deal.
CBS has one, but next to none of their stuff is available on it. They have about half the I Love Lucy episodes. Keep in mind that we don’t have old shows because most everything offends a power group. They went back and hacked a lot of shows to shreds twenty years ago and still find things to be offended at.
PC rules everything.
What is Blockbuster?
Is it a company?
You can watch Johnny Carson for free on Antenna TV every night. They even show the hour and a half shows on the weekend.
