TOWN OF ISLIP, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) A Long Island judge stands accused of breaking into a neighbors home, but its what police say he stole thats baffling residents even more. Hes accused of taking worn womens underwear from the residence.
It happened around 9 a.m. Thursday on Donna Place in East Islip.
There was a 23-year-old girl home alone. She heard noise in the house, she saw an intruder, Suffolk County Police Chief of Department Stuart Cameron said.
When the intruder realized someone was home, police said he ran off. But officers quickly caught up with him a couple blocks away. judge Judge Accused Of Breaking Into Neighbors Home, Taking Womens Underwear
Turns out, it was a man who should know better, CBS2s Jessica Layton reported.
District court judge Robert Cicale lives right across the street from the home that hes accused of burglarizing.
He was found to be in possession of soiled female undergarments that we believe were either proceeds from todays burglary or proceeds from a prior burglary at the same location, Cameron said.
The 49-year-old was elected to the bench in 2015. Before that, he served as Islip town attorney.
Its unclear how Cicale got into the home or how well he knew his neighbor before the bizarre burglary, Layton reported.
The judge will not only spend a night in jail, but hell face a different judge Friday morning when hes arraigned in a Central Islip courtroom.
There’s women’s undergarments fetishism.
Then there’s USED women’s undergarments fetishism.
For the later, the former fresh out of the bag don’t cut it.
The need the worn garments.
For this perp I suspect it’s:
1. Steal the undies
2. Find a room with a locked door.
3a. Fondle and sniff
3b. Here come the judge, here come the judge.
Good save, chief.
Yikes on that Canadian bloke.
Thx for the nightmares. :)
Wanted to make soup!
I agree Craigslist Markoff was interesting as well....but i think watching Israel Keyes was a cut above that for the nature of how he covered and planned his killings and was so manipulative in the interrogations... .........any others you found interesting please do refer as I do enjoy watching the interesting ones.
I started the video and had to force myself away to get back to work. I’m guessing it’s going to be quite a compelling take. Thank you.
Yes, but the Israel Keyes interview was really frightening.
That guy wasn’t sick, he was pure evil.
Did you hear the guy they interviewed who hired him to do carpentering work? He said he was extremely competent and professional, not even taking bathroom breaks while on the job. Guy said he was almost superhuman in his discipline.
Yes I heard him...and you’re right Keyes was evil indeed. He had it his way right up to the end when he took his own life.....twisted mind doesn’t say enough.
You won't be disappointed I can assure you of that, both in the Interrogators skill and Willams responses and behavior.
Totally engaging and fascinating...in fact I had shared about this with my brother, who had watched it til wee hours of morning....he too could not leave it once he started...
There are quite a few interviews of the kiddy diddlers that were caught by To Catch A Predator, but they're all pretty pathetic. All pathetic losers who either (a) cry and beg for forgiveness because they're such total losers, or (b) make up stupid, pathetic excuses about how they were planning to try to scare the (underage) girl into not looking for dates on the internet. Stupid, not interesting at all unless you like watching morons try to weasel out of trouble and not do a very good job at it.
Fact is, most criminals are really, really dumb, and can't even begin to match wits with experienced detectives. It's no contest.
The interviews of serial killer Nikko Jenkins are slightly interesting because he is so manipulative, but he's also quite deranged, and doesn't deny what he did. Just the usual "the devil made me do it" stuff, blaming an ancient god for his killing spree.
I believe quite a lot of the Joel Rifkin interviews are on YouTube, but he also doesn't deny his crimes (he was caught with the corpse of one of his victims in the back of his pickup).
Of course, how could I forget?
As a side note, kudos to the interrogator. I can't imagine the mental stress he had to endure to successfully play mental chess for so long against this killer....
Back in the 90's, a close friend of mine who was a Wayne State psychology professor had to spend time at the Pontiac Correctional facility in Pontiac Michigan, dealing with maximum security inmates. He said that was the worst and scariest time of his career, dealing with stone cold psychopaths........
Well, I am an old lady, and, believe me, I love being called a girl. :) I have 2 older sisters and one who is 2.5 years younger than I am, and when we’re together we are definitely “The Girls”.
I suppose I was reacting to calling the 23-year-old a girl in a report. Just doesn’t seem right.
As for your female boss — IMO, there usually is a problem with such — I’ll bet she was a real joy to work with. There are certain tasks that a group of women can do well together, but it seems that women often make awful bosses.
They must have very large underwear at the big box store. No?
Xlnt.
