Please, someone tell me if assault weapon is defined with any precision at all. It's all the usual stuff about pistol grips, magazines, and the use of energy to load a new cartridge into the chamber.

I just skimmed through it. I am wondering where the part about compensation for the property confiscated from me is listed.

We can’t assume that this will not pass. We MUST swamp our reps wih calls and email fighting this.
To: DarthVader
Yes, as it should be. What troubles me is the listing of specifically what makes and models of firearms are or are not covered by the bill. Once passed, all it would require is for some future congress to amend the legislation to remove some or all of the firearms exempted in the original bill. Voila! NO firearms are now exempted.

When will a Republican CongressCritter file a motion to censure all sponsors of that bill for violating their oath to uphold the Constitution?

Why pass a law when the enforcers wont enforce it. If existing law had been enforced in Florida, Parkland would not have happened. Simple as that. I get as angry as the gun hating left when these massacres happen or any abuse of a gun. Congress is as useless as those who could have prevented this.

It will be a futile effort for them to try, but yes, they are subversive elements.
