While it’s nice to hear our military doing well, I worry about the pro-war undertones in the news. I don’t want to fight Russia anywhere, and I don’t want us fighting anyone in Syria, yet the establishment cheers for a war against Russia in Syria. No, thank you!

I wish I could believe this stuff. It sounds like CIA propaganda to me. It sounds like a set up to make the US population think any war with Russia would be an easy win.
Why do they want us in a war with Russia?
That our troops were successful in tuning back the Russian-Iranian advance across the Euphrates demarcation line (jointly drawn by US and Russia) was due mostly to surprise. The Russians had no air cover. Next time they will.
The 57s will guide the 35s in on US planes and their longer range BVR missiles will do the deed, while the 25s take on the ground troops. Throw in some TOSS-1As and the surprise could go the other way.

And Putin makes deals with Turkey, with Saudi Arabia, with Erdogan and the Saudi Royalty, it’s guaranteed, if we broke off relations with Turkey or SA and maybe we should, the Russian Oligarchy would love to step in to our place.
