I find it odd the FBI can stage an international coup against a sitting US president, catch political enemies in process crimes, but they can’t stop a psychopath with declared intent from mass murdering children.

The FBI is politicized.
They gain by pushing the global overthrow of America as founded out of the news cycle and create momentum for gun confiscation.

In all fairness, the informant did not give an address, phone number and possible times and locations where the FBI could confront the person making the threats. However, if there would have been a “pee pee” journal involved the FBI could have shifted high level resources to the effort.

Most likely, their procedures for handling such a threat were inadequate or they were overloaded with work in other areas and this fell through the cracks.

actually, I think it would be an excellent idea for authorities to investigate someone using social media expressing the intent to mass murder children...the concept of red flags is a valid one...
Giving them the power to do so, would that include you and every member of this website? We already know what a weaponized IRS and FBI can do............
As their power grows, don't think that maybe some day you won't be a target.............
