Believe it or not, a "Greatest American Hero" reboot is headed to the small screen and will apparently be set in Cleveland. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the lead role will be played by Hannah Simone, best known for her role as Cece on six seasons of "New Girl." She'll play Meera, described as a "30-year-old Cleveland woman whose talents include drinking tequila, singing karaoke and not much else," that is, until "some aliens entrust her with a super suit to protect the planet."

Yes, Since Ralph was a school teacher he wanted to ‘correct’ Bill’s grammar....................
This sounds terrible
Reboot with a girl for social justice warrior bonus points?
Believe it or not, I’m walking away.
Believe it or not it’s ME!!
wont be watching this unoriginal trash.
Heroine
Hollywood should use the recycling symbol, too.
What, they didn’t pick a black transvestite child molester for the lead role? You are slippin’, Hollywood.
All good except the previous guy abused the powers to become wealthy and that’s why it was taken away. Interesting that Ralph Hinckley, until Reagan was shot, was a teacher with altruistic principles while the new show has a woman that is apparently alcoholic with no redeeming qualities.........how millennial liberal!
Thanks
Aw, damn. I didn’t know it was cancelled. I’ve really enjoyed it.
I looked it up the other day and found a site that said it was cancelled. This one says it wasn’t. I hope the first one was wrong.

Jerry died................
Cool. It is really uncanny how much young Ritter looks like his dad. The pratfall/slapstick/physical comedy easily reminds me of “Three’s Company”, and the show really does show heart (even if I don’t agree with a lot of the what the “angel/guides” say, or do).
As far as the Greatest American Hero, I seem to remember reading they were going to make her a Muslim, or was it that she was a lesbian? Either way, waste of time to watch it, in my opinion.
I don’t know if this is true or not.

Incidentally, the show originally had the title “The Gospel of Kevin.”

Looks like the 36 righteous souls has a biblical origin.

Yeah, I knew about the rename... I liked it either way.
I knew the 36 righteous souls had a Talmudic origin, but had not dug deeper than that. Thank you FRiend!
