Believe it or not, a "Greatest American Hero" reboot is headed to the small screen and will apparently be set in Cleveland. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the lead role will be played by Hannah Simone, best known for her role as Cece on six seasons of "New Girl." She'll play Meera, described as a "30-year-old Cleveland woman whose talents include drinking tequila, singing karaoke and not much else," that is, until "some aliens entrust her with a super suit to protect the planet."

I watched this show occasionally when I was young but I really don’t understand why it would be “rebooted”. Are TV writers and producers really this hard up for ideas?
I have to admit, that is one show I am not at all familiar with.
It needs to be made “woke” by making the main character a bi-curious, non-binary, vegan, wiccan of color.
If it is a proper “hand off” I can live with it. If it is another damn gender-swapped “reimagining “, then it can go to hell.
This show was as bad as the 3rd episode of My mother the car.
And so does she lose the instructions, too?.....................
Google “ believe it or not” song. My dad used to watch this. Basically the dude was give super hero powers by aliens but he couldn’t control them even when saving a life. Im sure the lefty writers will screw this up and turn him into a commie.

It was a show that had aliens give this guy a super suit out in the desert. He could fly and all that kinda stuff. It had all kinds of superpowers.
The previous owner was a gangster.
The aliens would give the suit to different people just to see what they would do with it.
The new owner LOST THE INSTRUCTIONS on how to use the suit................
All I remember about that show was a goofy looking guy with curly hair, and that damn theme song being played incessantly on the radio.

I would rather watch the Last American Hero with Jeff Bridges and Valerie Perine.

I didn’t know about the gangster aspect of the suit.
