The Smithsonian Institute has just revealed an official portrait of former President Barack Obama in Washington, DC.
Just before dramatically unveiling the former president's portrait, which depicts him sitting in a garden amid green ivy, the Institute presented a portrait of former first lady Michelle Obama, and it looks like it definitely left a huge impression on her.
The portrait was greeted with gasps and applause.
"Wow, wow," Obama said in awe once the portrait was unveiled. She gave a short speech afterward.
"Can we just say wow again?" she said. "I have to tell you that as I stand here today with all of you and look at this amazing portrait that will hang with so many iconic figures, I am overwhelmed to say the least."

OK, I thought this was some kind of joke but these portraits are apparently real. Wow. Can we just say wow again?
These are supposed to be true to life portraits....not some artists brilliant rendering. Both are crap...
So are these portraits really the official ones or just a joke, like you know, they are?

I have to admit, Michael looks very handsome in that picture.
Moochelles’s portrait also looks like those paint by numbers back a few decades ago.

The Obama portrait looks ridiculous, Michelle’s portrait looks like Whistler’s step-mother.
You’ll also notice that nothing denotes any pride or any indications of USA.
Noticed that too. Absence of our flag, or similar iconic symbol speaks volumes.
