Yes, Uma Thurman is mad.
She has been raped. She has been sexually assaulted. She has been mangled in hot steel. She has been betrayed and gaslighted by those she trusted.
And we’re not talking about her role as the blood-spattered bride in “Kill Bill.” We’re talking about a world that is just as cutthroat, amoral, vindictive and misogynistic as any Quentin Tarantino hellscape.
We’re talking about Hollywood, where even an avenging angel has a hard time getting respect, much less bloody satisfaction.

It appears to me that many of these stars now complaining about being molested kept quiet until their careers were well established.
I have to say I’m burned out on this stuff.
Sexual politics isn’t new, but I think some of these women think that it is. Men chase women. Women chase men. Misunderstandings occur. People use other people. There are fine lines between flirting, romancing, persuading, and taking advantage of. People have regrets and they learn and they try to make next time better.
Weinstein was a predator? Fine. Prosecute him. Prosecute some other people too. But you can’t prosecute everyone, and it’s not always the man’s fault, and maybe modern women need to toughen up a little.
I swear, Feminism has made almost all women crazy and vulnerable, wallowing in endless victimhood while complaining that they have no power at all in the world.
I’m just a little tired of that game.

But what i am reading, as Uma tells her stories, is they all end with lucy pulls away the football.
All this went on in the political center of the smug, self righteous, liberal ground zero, while they all lectured us on using less energy,less resources, not owning guns while belittling our faith.

What I read into it is that Uma gets herself into situations of her own making and then blames somebody else when things go wrong. The worst of it according to her is that Weinstein sent her 26 yellow roses and Uma deigns THAT vulgar.
I wish they, along with the elderly Miss Dowd, would just go away.
NO one in the entertainment industry has the RIGHT to be ‘offended’ by anything they glorify and make their living portraying and promoting. If they seek offenders and enemies they have only to look in the mirror. How DARE anyone who sexualizes themselves for any reason claim offense when others do the same!
I couldn’t stand that movie...in fact I didn’t watch the other ones - just not for me.
I get the idea that Uma didn’t have a strong core to her personality.
I always like Uma. I expect most actors to be liberal.
The thing I don’t like is complaints that are more than 10 years old, unless sit was child molestation. It can take a child years to speak out and some state shave extended the statute of limitations. But the women who speak out now about things 20 years older and more, i just ignore.
I hope she will come along and work again.

Women have more power than they may be willing to admit. They have something that men want. Men have been chasing it for millennia, women have been playing coy for just as long. That said, sexual predators should be castrated and then thrown in jail. Women who may later have regrets about certain decisions they have made should enjoy there success and STFU.
