ok...the dance scene was worthy...but for me not good enough to watch the rest.
FR rule:
On all threads where the author is Maureen Dowd, you post CZJ pics.
The part about her goings-on when she lived alone AT AGE 16, is revealing.
“They have something that men want.”
Or, as I first heard it, “half the jobs and all the p***y.”
They can't do that because it would always be a lie.
What I find disgusting is that these multi millionaires are the ones being applauded for stepping forward AFTER they have amassed their fortunes. And yet there is no mention of the female starlets who chose to say NO and maintained their integrity and returned to their middle America homes..........
Hollywood is very ugly.
The Kill Bill movies were just gratuitous and dumb.
It was Miramax, which used to be the Weinsteins until Disney fired them from it. Don’t know if they still get residuals.
Bottom line, Weinstein was a creep. But it's not all his fault. If I was an actress dealing with Weinstein, I would had reported him. So what if my career ended up in flames?
Only real new information here is that Tarantino put her in a dangerous situation to film a scene of her driving a car dangerously and she legitimately got hurt and she seems to think it was on orders from Weinstein. Interesting theory but Tarantino makes his actors do all kinds of crazy stuff. If he then made a movie entirely about her stunt double getting in car crashes and finally getting revenge on Kurt Russell that’s pretty low. Did anyone really believe Tarantino wasn’t a lowlife, though? Thurman kept working with both Weinstein and Tarantino after her supposed rape and AFTER Tarantino almost killed her to film a car crash scene. You lie down with dogs you should expect to get fleas.
Also, someone said this was well written? MoDo’s writing is crap and I can’t tell half the time whether she’s trying to seduce Thurman, herself, or not.
Her net worth is ~ $45,000,000 so, yeah...
yep. lie down with dogs, get fleas ...
One of nature’s wonders.
One of nature’s wonders.
I would like my teenaged daughters, who whine about petit-bourgeoise anomie, to read this and then say, “Thank you, Mama, for being dull as dishwater.”
post getting their role abuse.
do whatever it takes to get the role and then leverage successful results for avoiding such transactions.
Amen sister. Hollywood is all about money. How to get in initially and so you can make it ....how to keep your face in the news and on tv so you can keep on making it. And these women expect the rest of us to applaud their so-called bravery? Not buyin’ it! Most of the women stepping forward with these allegations - even if they are true - have had their day in the limelight. Thier publicity people are probably eggin’ them on, as well as the Gloria Allred types. She and her ilk are all about money too.
