My knowledge of steroids is limited but the concept of “addiction” here seems incorrect to me.
I mean, if I really, really liked veal parmigiana I suppose I could claim addiction. But this is just gluttony or simple lack of self-control. And if I wanted it to end and killed myself, then it’s simple suicide. I don’t think “addiction” is the right term.

Not to be insensitive to this woman's loss, but it looks like the steroids also helped her bulk up in, how should I put it, in "certain areas", as well.

depression during that time is extremely common, apparently he read very little about it before he got into it deeply.
