Congress Quietly Pushing Bill to Require National Biometric ID for ALL Americans
Earlier this month, Rep. Bob Goodlatte [R-VA-6] introduced H.R.4760 Securing Americas Future Act of 2018, a sweeping bill that entails everything from Education and the Workforce to Homeland Security to the military.
Also, tucked away in this 400-page behemoth of a bill are the details of a new biometric National ID card that could soon be required for everyone.
Not surprisingly, there is almost no media coverage on this legislation.

Are you finally admitting that you have been trolling.
Yes. Why pay always senior gringo-nerd, when you can get instant citizenship.

Scroll down to the section entitled biometrics.
Are you speaking of those pointing out the potential future prophetical ramifications?
The "big deal" is the Bible instructs me to reject the Mark.
Crazies. Yeah. Those Christian nutjobs.
Remind me again why you're here?
I believe that you are wrong. I just posted the link above. Go to the biometric section. There are clearly parts of it that apply to everyone traveling through a certain location-regardless of immigration status.
If it’s not meant to be taken at least partially literally then how do you make sense of:
And the second beast required all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the markthe name of the beast or the number of its name.
And there’s enough debate about this that getting assent to a chip would be impossible.
I wouldn’t want a chip either but not because of that bible verse. It’s because I want to be able to go low profile if I am personally sure there’s nothing to be guilty about. Therefore I will carry a debit card that has a chip when I want to be using it.
Fie on omni-police.
Buy or sell in the marketplace of discourse, of ideas. That is a concept as old as the New Testament. You would only be accepted thinking and doing according to what the Beast wanted. A literal marketplace still fails to reach the off-grid. A symbolic one does reach them.
To call Christians tinfoilers, what else.
We all need spiritual “tinfoil.” Ephesians 6 uses some other metaphors.
I bet this will pass faster than a pay raise through Congress. The crowds are getting unruly and NWO needs a win in their column
Some wins, some loses.
Eternal vigilance is hard for those not even trying very hard to put on the mind of Christ.
If theres really something in the bill, what section is it? What page number?
Look, we might have different view on any given point. Big deal. Get over it, enjoy the discussion. Isn't that what you are on FR for? Or are you looking for an echo chamber, mirroring your views. Ain't happening.
Surrender your Man Card.
Just drop it in the slot at the Post Office in the morning.
If there’s a man in a car; he’s driving it, teaching one of his kids to drive it, in a coffin in the back, or it’s not his car.
I already lived into the twilight of the most fun days of the automobile. I give a f*k your luxury sedan is quick; it has no soul; there’s no viscera to it, anymore. Formula One is 80% computerized, now; the cars are programmed for the tracks — when to shift, when to brake — the drivers are there to steer. The new Porsche 911’s are SO refined in their control systems the driver is layers removed from the road; you almost CAN’T screw up in the curves. Look at what BMW has done to the M3, for crying out loud! That was THE BENCHMARK sport coup for years. Now — pffft! So much luxury it’s taken all the “sport” out of it; the heart is so deeply buried under tech and leather that you can’t feel it beating, anymore.
Driver-less car? Not this cat, Brother. Amid a flood of Federal and Municipal governments channeling Satan’s inner Control Freak, driving is the last frontier of personal freedom. You surrender that, you may as well burn The Constitution to ashes ‘cuz “the American Experiment” will be OVER.
What’s religion got to do with a discussion on ID cards? Seriously, I guess I missed that one at church. I’ve been accused of falling asleep one or two times over the years...
My apologies if this stuff is covered above. It’s late and I didn’t take time to read the entire thread.
There is no need for an implant, which BTW is not even properly classified under the topic of biometrics, IMHO.
Biometrics are the parameters of YOU. Your facial structure, your body shape, your gait, your fingerprints, the patterns of veins on the back of your hand or on your retina. No matter where you go, you take all those things with you.
We now have cameras which can scan your fingertips for fingerprint patterns from a distance of some feet, meaning you will never know if they don’t want you to.
The combination of computing and high-resolution cameras leaves little opportunity to be a stranger to the system.
Ironically enough, the only way to have a physical presence in a public place while not revealing your identity will be to use a generic robotic avatar, with all comms encrypted and/or anonymized.
Or wear a hijab and put rocks in your shoes to disrupt your gait.
Privacy will increasingly become infeasible for all but the very rich, and those who are so deprived that they’ve never interacted with the system.
Well put,all kidding aside.
When there is a knock on your door to collect you because you are a Christian or a Jew....when they come to collect your guns which have been outlawed...when they come to collect YOU because something you said on the internet made someone feel bad or uneasy..it will be too late.
Talk about national identification cards raises the hackles on my back. No need for US citizens who have other evidence of citizenship and it only opens us up to future abuse through incrementalism. People with ill intent will abuse it with certainty down the road.
That said, consular officials presently have the right to request DNA evidence NOW to determine relationship for the chain migrants entering the US if they are not satisfied with the evidence presented. This whole story is a fake or false extension of those requirements for new immigrants, not for US citizens presently.
