Congress Quietly Pushing Bill to Require National Biometric ID for ‘ALL Americans’

Earlier this month, Rep. Bob Goodlatte [R-VA-6] introduced H.R.4760 – Securing America’s Future Act of 2018, a sweeping bill that entails everything from Education and the Workforce to Homeland Security to the military.

Also, tucked away in this 400-page behemoth of a bill are the details of a new biometric National ID card that could soon be required for everyone.

Not surprisingly, there is almost no media coverage on this legislation.

However, as Ron Paul points out, “this bill would give DACA recipients a 3-year renewable legal status while forcing a biometric National ID card on virtually everyone else.” “That’s right — the statists want to control you,” said Paul.

This was part of Davos Agenda 2030 IIRC. Also part of UN sustainable development. Several other countries are rolling this out - I think Germany already adopted it, and UK is on the way.

Several sources said that the bill has already passed the House. I don't know about that, but it will be necessary to be able to work. Driver's license will be phased out as ID.

We need national standard, whether issued by states, best maybe since they are set up for it. Capture enough info to ensure 100% positive ID, weed out and deport all illegal aliens. What's the big deal? Get it done. We are mostly there with Real ID anyway. Anyone with a passport, with Clear, or pre-check, already have done this.

Only people fighting such common sense ID are protecting illegals or are themselves fugitives.

Yes, I agree this is thrown out to stir up people with idiotic nightmare fantasies. Our biggest problem is illegal aliens in our midst, people voting who shouldn't be, multiple times, ID theft/fraud. Getting a secure ID would solve all of that. And we are 99% there anyway with real ID, with passports that have biometric data, and so forth. Scare tactics and idiocy to fight it.

Instead, if there are legit concerns on the use/misuse of these ID, fine, lets address those.

This is a topic that really draws out the crazies. The responses, the stuff tossed out, the tinfoil hat fear, is beyond incredible. What some people hide in their closet, seeming normal people in most discussions, are anything but when a topic like this comes up.

The weirder side of trying to do amnesty. But suppose DACAs were banned — there still is the long term but not permanent visiting alien question.

I’ll point this out over technology and the need for driver’s licenses.

By 2040, there will be cars on the roads of America which are entirely driven by computer. The need for drivers, driver’s training and even driver’s licenses...will start to be discussed, and I would suggest that by 2050...most kids will be finishing high school with no interest in getting a license, and all fifty states will allow cars to operate with unlicensed people merely sitting inside of them.

So the topic of the license as being an ID? This next generation of kids to come along....will be in this group who won’t have a need for driver’s licenses. You are looking at the end for this necessity.

We might want to all sit and pause over this and ponder the question of where we go with this, and if a national ID card or chip, or whatever....is the best direction.
